Brilliant veterinary service. Tom vet couldn't have done more in both examining my dog and treating her. He spent time explaining all options and advice on what was needed for her. He was kind, empathetic and knowledgeable.
We had to rush our dog Monty to Irby vet's 2 weeks ago,the receptionist was so lovely,then Tom the vet doctor came out and introduced himself,he was so kind,he couldn't do enough for Monty. Thank you all so much
All the staff at Irby Vets provided exceptional care to our seriously ill dog for 3 days. They undoubtedly saved his life. We were kept up to date each step of the way of his progression and given options which were fully explained to us so we were able to make decisions without any guess work. We were also updated each day on the mounting bills which is obviously very important. We were allowed to visit our boy everyday and not once were we made to feel unwelcome or in the way even though they're a fairly busy surgery. Each member of staff from the receptionists to the vets were very personable, patient, and caring. We felt like they all genuinely cared about our dog and we were confident he was being taken great care of 24 hours a day. Taking into consideration he had a long surgery, stayed on an IV drip for 3 days which included 24 hour care, we were pleasantly surprised at the final bill and it was worth every penny. We took our dog to them on a Tuesday morning and he was most definitely at deaths door. Next Friday evening we were able to take him home. Almost 3 weeks on and he's back to his normal self. Our whole family will be forever grateful to the team for giving our beloved family dog a second chance of life.
So friendly and caring. Wouldn't take my cats anywhere else. Take the time to talk to you and answer any questions you have. Very tactful when explaining my little boy kitten was in fact a girl
Managed to get an appointment really quickly, the staff seem very good and friendly. Also, the surgery seems incredibly clean.
Clean, efficient and professional surgery. Dog very happy to visit. Rob Forrester and his staff are doing a good job for which I'm grateful. I'd appreciate being offered an itemised invoice without having to ask and sometimes the phone is not answered as promptly as it might thus 4/5 stars but these are minor quibbles.
Friendly, helpful and very personal vets. My dog came here for a second opinion, they did everything they could to get him into the emergency slot for the hospital. Even in the unfortunate scenario of euthanasia, they were very professional and understanding. We were very grateful for the card after the event. Just small things to show they care.
We moved to Irby vets with our fantastic vet Sarah. An absolute star vet. The best move we ever made. We and dogs are welcomed with smiles every time. Nothing is too much trouble. Kind and courteous over the telephone. Practice is spotless and beautifully fragrant. The vets, receptionists and nurses give exemplary care. I would rate this practice 10 stars!!! Saved my dogs life more than once once. One rime my children left 2 easter eggs out and my dog got them bit luckily the well trained surgeons saved my dog. The other Tim he had two swelling points on his neck they were the same size as tennis balls and he was struggling to breath. Though they couldn't work out the cause they managed to get my do medication and he was back to full health. They have lily helping staff and have dog food poo bags and other supplies in case you are in an emergency
Since being taken over by large conglomerate prices have rocketed. Other vets do exactly the same for a lot less
