What a great place! I had the "half" afternoon tea which at £10 was great value. Lovely egg mayonnaise sandwiches on delicious bread, very tasty homemade tomato soup and the best chocolate cake I have had for some time. With tea included and a warm welcome and friendly staff. Quirky decor and nice atmosphere. Would strongly recommend!Food: 5/5

Popped in for a light lunch and enjoyed the quirky atmosphere, and music. Plus if you like the look of the decor most of it is for sale. I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich, in regulation triangles and my daughter had a vegetarian chili wrap which was piping hot and cheesy! Having demolished that we had to have scones and cake, it almost seemed rude not to. Excellent fare and the staff are both unobtrusive and helpful which is a rare combination in this day and age.  Dietary restrictions: They will take of you if you have any special dietary requirements.

Very disappointed with the afternoon tea my friend and I had yesterday. The sandwiches were made with thick dry bread with the crusts still on!!!!! None of the cakes were fresh and the amount we got for £20 wasn't enough. There wasn't any little trifles or anything of that description. The scone was nice and we had plenty of  tea also the lady was friendly but I would give this place a miss. The venue is very tired....needs updating. You can see all the food in the photo definitely not worth £40.

Delightfully old fashioned cafe selling real home made food.  We arrived at 2pm and some menu items were sold out. No fetching some more from the freezer here.  Hand made bread rolls and cakes like your granny’s.  Wish I lived nearer.

Great service, fantastic food, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, returned today 09/07/2022 my birthday treat and it was an absolute delight again   Dietary restrictions: If you have any dietary preferences/ requirements they will do their best to accommodate you.  Parking: There is pay & display parking near by, reasonably charged coin or mobile app payment  Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately the building is unsuitable for wheelchair users

Found this gem via Google Maps while on holiday. What a lovely place! A warm welcome, attentive service and a fine interior made this the perfect place for our first ever delicious 'high tea' in England.Food: 5/5

Lovely food,  excellent service as always. Very friendly and helpful.  Cornflake tart was delicious!  Really fabulous 1920's style tea room 100% recommend

Friendly staff and whether it's just a take away coffee or a spot of lunch it's an excellent little place.

Brilliant little eatery hidden in Shipley a 40s themed place with a real home feel. Delicious food with a regional feel. Staffs are helpful and friendly. The best around. A real diamond
