Popped in for a nice hot drink with my daughter. Straight away asked if we were wanting to sit inside, we did, and the staff member assured us there were seats available. They've had to mark loads off due to Covid. Saw staff members wiping down tables as soon as customers left.
It’s a typical Costa but a good example. Staff are friendly and helpful and there’s plenty of seating. Toilets weren’t the cleanest floors mainly but I could see staff checking them and filling up hand towels so they’re obviously on top of it.
Friendly and polite staff as always, been going for a few years never had a single complaint.
They barely had any sandwiches and they're not doing fruit toast or toasted teacakes. They seem too relaxed about track and trace. Half the people don't even scan the thing. The elderly don't have smart phones, no one is taking details.

It seems that this franchise of Costa is not passing on the saving in reduction of VAT to customers but is keeping this for themselves. On two drinks this comes to 70p. If used regularly this would mean a substantial extra cost to customers. Come on Tamp & Swirl t/a Costa. Play fair ! !
Lovely coffee as always clean tidy and relaxed nowhere to sit for a while so had to stand and wait. No one keeping eye on numbers. Think slight oversight but soon sorted.
Well organised for Covid, good coffee and cakes. Has takeaway coffee and cakes now untill the lockdown ends 2 December I think.
