Founded in 1910, the Institut français du Royaume-Uni exists to promote French language and culture and to encourage cross-cultural exchange and cultural diversity. Comprising a language centre, a multi-media library, a cinema, Ciné Lumière and a French Bistro, it welcomes thousands of people each year.

Good biblioteque, nice staff and beaucoup de selections en francais
If you want to register for a course, good luck with it! The admin staff has no knowledge of customer care, they direct you to their website for an online registration where the dates of the course are not up to date and students are not given timely support at all.
Nice building, and I thought the dessert and drink would be good because it’s a French institute...totally wrong turned out to be, staff were nice though.
Have done several courses here over the past two years with several teachers and all have been excellent, professional, encouraging and just nice people. The Administration has always been very pleasant and helpful. Overall, very much recomended.

Joined a beginner class. Affordable prices. I really like that the class was conducted in french. Very helpful to improve my listening and oral skills.
Lessons are great value for money. Admin staff can be rude though, and the centre is not very well maintained. I would recommend learning at Institut Francais if on a budget and are looking for a constituent quality of group classes. I am currently a student at the centre, and I am content with the offering.
