Really handy for the station. Only complaint was the girl on the check-in desk just walked off when she saw us arriving, without a word. Apart from her, the staff were friendly. Room was perfectly fine for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good; we found it was cheaper to pay on the day than to add it to the room when booking.
Stayed overnight after attending a funeral. Very clean and comfortable. Staff, very helpful and friendly. So handy with it being a Toby Carvery as well, not having to go far for an evening meal or breakfast.
This is our fifth stay at the Innkeepers Beckenham. It is perfectly situated for visits to family in the local area. The buses run from right outside, meaning we don't have to drive everywhere, there is also a train station across the road.nThe pub is lovely, spacious and clean. We've indulged in the carvery a few times and can't fault it - booking is required as it's always busy. If you've forgotten anything, there's a Sainsbury's Local store just across the road too.nThe rooms are a great size, with everything you could need. Clean and comfortable and the bathroom is good with a decent shower.nThe final great thing is free parking - so rare close to London. The car park does get busy, but there's lots of movement as people come and go from the Carvery, so we've never waited more than a few minutes to be able to park.
The room was fine and clean, beds were comfortable, quiet room.nVery well situated; train station directly across the road.nnWe did not get a proper welcome/ no explanation about anything, for example about breakfast options. But this was maybe because we arrived late, we ordered a drink at the bar, but we did not get it because the bar was closingthere were still people sitting in the bar. We had a long journey and we would have loved something to drink.nIt was just a tiny gesture he could have made, in our opinion.nnSaturday evening we came back late, so we called the number on the door for assistance, someone came to the door and told us we need to take the front door, we thought, he might as well, could have openned the door for us.nnWhen checking out nu questions asked about our stay for example if we were satisfied.nnIt is just a little effort to be of service and be friendly. This is what we missed.nnRoom was perfect.
Arrived from Australia with my daughter, room was very clean & comfortable, just what we needed safety a long flight!nFood was amazing, dinner with my sisters family, who live just around the corner, was amazing and for once my eyes weren’t bigger than my belly!nWe will be back again in a few weeks for a few nights before we head back to Australia.
