Everything was great. Clean rooms, nice and clean batgroom, comfortable bed.nThe Staff was very Kind and helpful. Thank you, Mack the man at the overnight reception who helped us as lot as we had a very late night arrive due to delays.nGreat food at tobeys and breakfast was fine.nGetting to London and back was easy. All-in-all we are very happy and will probably return sometime
The hotel is part of the Toby Carvery restaurant in Beckenham. The entrance way to rooms looks a bit dated and rundown, The room was surprisingly pleasant with a nice shower room. Breakfast was extra at around £9:50 and was an all you can eat buffet. Most of the items where good except for the eggs, with only eggs be available going hard under the heating elements! Also quite a few of the plates where dirty and the coffee was stone cold with the staff not even trying to resolve the issue. In general the customer service was very poor and I would not recommend this establishment.
Nice room & bathroom, not always hoovered or floor in bathroom washed on a daily basis when on a long stay. Maids lovely though.nToby Staff female rude, no customer service skills, and a CBA attitude. you’re in the wrong job love get a new one that fits your lack of personal skills.nHotel ideal for train station into London.nBuffet usually tepid as it never retains heat once it’s left the kitchen… it is what it isnHead office inept and not fit for purpose.
Stayed here on Saturday night, it was a recommended by a friend who was having a birthday party nearby. Excellent stay all the way through from check in to check out. Ate alone in the restaurant on the Saturday evening and the waitress was so lovely and helpful. Room was lovely and the shower incredible. I think the only suggestions I'd make was the heater kept firing up and I'm a light sleeper and no lighting in the doorway. But would definitely stay again.
Staff was very helpful, and the room was lovely and clean, lovely shower.nTea and coffee provided.nnDouvet not big enough, s it was quite cold at times.nBut I'm sure if I complained at the time, It would have been sorted.nLovely stay.
