Normally really enjoy our food from there and have been on several occasions. Never had a single issue and staff are normally really accommodating. However tonight absolutely appalling service. Placed an order at 7.30 to be told at 8 that our order has been cancelled. We then replaced the order at 8 to be told we had to pay cash as the just eat machine and card machine isn’t working which is fair enough got the cash for it waiting for the delivery. 9.55.. still no food. we call and get told that there not delivering our order and they shut at 10 so we have 5 minutes to collect. When then questioned about it, lied about them “trying to call” when we have had no missed call. We then arrived to get the food to be told THEY HADN’T EVEN COOKED THE FOOD!!!!! Absolutely shocking service tonight and won’t be ordering again. If there was an option for no stars you would be receiving that from me!!
Food is hit and miss. Sometimes great and other times not so good. This is possibly the best curry house in Spalding. Just had a nice meal but feel let down by the fact that I've been over charged again. Supposed to be 10% discount on collection but this is often not applied and I find myself having to ask for it when paying which is wrong. If you advertise a deal you should honour it. Realised today after leaving that no discount has been applied AGAIN!
Well after tonight we will not be using indus again arrived later than the 90 minutes wait from ordering it said it would be then it was cold, had to heat it up before we could eat it then the plain nan, half of it crisper than the poppadoms the keema nan was just cold.ordered 4 poppadoms not that you could tell but looking at all the broken prices at the bottom of the bag there were 2 at best. To be fair the curries tasted nice. Well done Indus for getting our money but never again.
Always was my favourite Indian in Spalding, tried all the others and not as good. Update 23/6/19 Just been there tonight and have to say the food was abysmal, don't know what happened to the place but certainly will not be going back. waited almost an hour for the food, wish I hadn't bothered.
Ummm, interesting Went to Indus tonight, sat in the over spill did of the restaurant. We go out most weekends for a meal and this was a 2/10 at best. The food wasn’t anything great but the main issue was the restaurant was grubby, there was hard food still stuck to plates . It felt like a takeaway - cheap but would have paid a lot more for a good meal, what a let down
After waiting over an hour for our food, it was delivered cold. considering we only live 3 minutes at the most away from the resturant, really wasn't happy with our food turning up stone cold. we ordered on a monday night so was hoping it wouldnt be busy. also the delivery driver came without any change so had to hand over our money and was told we'd get the change later on that night. very dissapointed with the service and we most definately wont be ordering from here again in the future.
Overpriced for what you get. Spice affair, Ghurka oven are much better options in spalding now. Had a few nice ones from Indus but recently found a very long hair wrapped in my curry! Also if you try place an order on justeat it’ll get declined in the week or if it’s not over £30. Very poor service and for the price they charge it should be high quality food. I’d rather have an iceland frozen curry than this shiteeee
Slow. Tiny portions. Slow. By time the rice came out we had practically finished our meat. Slow. Not the best meal but ok. Slow, we arrived at 6.45 And didn't get any good until gone 8.30!
All the staff were very polit & my dish come out perfect, my partner said his was warm but nice. My fussy 7year old had more than half the late which is alot for her if there aint no chips on the plate. I will be going again
After waiting for an hour for delivery, the food was cold and not even cooked long enough or all the way through! Chicken tikka masala did not even taste like anything, absolutely disgusting would definitely not recommend to anyone and definitely will not be ordering from her again!
