Fabulous lunch experience here, sea food is highly recommended. Sea bass in a tempura batter was fantastic Great staff too, owner operated, not a chain with teenagers on minimum wage. Give it a go.!Food: 5/5
We had to pay up front for this meal £105 for 4 2 adults, 2 children without drinks, and after eating it I can see why we were robbed of our money beforehand, absolutely Vile. From the moment we walked in the door the staff that greeted us had an awful attitude especially the manager probably the rudest person I have ever met in a front of house scenario. There was no effort made by any of the staff or waiting staff to make conversation or communicate with their guests. You have to get up to get your own drinks which doesn’t lend itself to a relaxed dining experience either. We were served king prawns for starter which were extremely overcooked, hard and rubbery and did not carry a fresh flavour. We were only provided a wet wipe for our fingers which is totally insufficient when you are shelling your own prawns usually I would expect a warm lemon water finger bowl. Clearly no idea about finer dining. This places is so out date and could do with a few episodes on Gordon’s kitchen nightmares to shake the tree and sing some home truths. Anyway on complaint to the jumped up manager about the prawns, he replied “oh that’s terribly unfortunate” as if to say we were lying. He had no concern that we had a bad experience and just claimed to be surprised. Anyway he then offered to refund the prawn dish but then changed tact when I said we had already paid and palmed us off with a round of drinks we were buying for “free” and said “call it evens shall we”!!!! Unbelievable. I haven’t even mentioned the extremely chewy beef main with dry roast potatoes and dish water gravy, and the cheeseboard which had next to no cheese with it. And what seemed like the microwaved syrup sponge pudding, tinned custard with added vanilla bean. Not a pleasant I do not recommend going here. Seriously don’t waste your money.
Left feeling upset and insulted by the rudeness of a staff member. An extra £50 was added to our bill and then amended without any real explanation or apology - we were actually slightly overcharged for our meal which I only just realised, so it was not correctly amended. We left the majority of our food as it was unfortunately bland. I’m sorry to write this, but I haven’t experienced service like that before and the lack of self awareness was quite something. I should also add the other waitress was great and took care to ensure my allergy was catered for which I really appreciated! I am sorry to write such a poor review, but I don't think people should be treated that way.

The service was a joke they put us in the worst table, we waited one hour to get served. People's who come after us getting served before us. But they give us old peanuts without asking us if we where allergic. Maybe they didn't served us because we weren't British. The starter was good. The main was good except the fact my steak was not cooked. I have to sent it back and waited even more. They promised a glass of prosecco but we never received it. Such a shame because the food is good. I don't blame the staff i blame the owner.
Celebrated a family birthday on Friday evening. Restaurant was pretty busy and made for a good atmosphere. The food was excellent. The seafood sharing platter was outstanding. All our adult kids like their steaks and the fillets were all cooked to medium rare perfection. The sides were equally good with a special mention for the thick cut chips, best I've had in a long while. Our lone vegan was well looked after and particularly enjoyed his Tofu teriyaki. Desserts were generous, we needed a break before they were served. Indigo is a hidden gem on the Worthing food scene and a sensibly priced treat.
Absolutely Amazing food and service! Came here for dinner to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and had a great night with fantastic food and service to match. Highly recommend the Seafood platter!
We had a meal at Indigo on my mum’s special birthday, and it was excellent. There were eight of us, including two children and we booked just a few days before. We all had different starters to each other, and we were all very happy with our food. The main courses were exceptional. I haven’t stopped thinking about the tempura sea bass - it was beautifully cooked and so tasty. The staff were all lovely and we enjoyed music from the pianist as well. Thank you for a lovely occasion!
Had a wonderful Sunday Lunch with friends, staff we very attentive, food was divine. Shared two starters with a friend between us which was ideal. we couldn’t decide as all the starters look wonderful so opted for sharing. The main course had so many options we were spoilt for choice. We all chose a different main course and were delighted with all four. Highly recommend this restaurant for Sunday Lunch and before a show on the pier. Perfect food and service.
