Our first visit today with our almost 3yr old. What a great soft play centre, lots of space to run around in, a dedicated area for under 3's. Plenty of things to climb and slide down in the main play area. For parents there are lots of tables and even sofas to sit on. Food from the cafe is well priced with big portions. For £6 and not having to book and stay as long as you like is great.
We went to Imagine during the half term holidays and on arriving with I'm 5 minutes the fire alarm went off and we were told to leave over the system which was not clear. There did not seem to be anyone taking a count of people to ensure they were all out although we were guided to the door. Some went out the back door which was muddy and no kids had shoes. We went out the front. The alarm was still ringing and people started to go back in I checked with a member of staff it was okay to go back in as kids were standing in their socks in the car park. No one said anything to us at all before this or approached to see how we were. I know a few people complained due to there socks being ruined. My complaint/concern is that it was not organised in the case of a real fire how did they check that all people and kids were out of the building. They only take a surname and 2 adults and kids on arrival. They did not ask when we went back in or on leaving with the fire alarm. I think the fire procedure needs to be looked at. Other than that the kids have always loved imagine and we have been going for years with no issues. We have been to many great parties here too which are great value.
Clean with a huge play area. Popular separate area for under 2.5s and lots of other areas for kids to run around, climb, slide etc. Plenty of seating, food looked brilliant, lots of options and plenty of snacks and drinks. Will definitely return the next time I'm in Ashford!
Had a really good experience here with my children especially from the staff member Alanya who went out of her way to support us when my child got lost. I would definitely come here again as the kids really enjoyed it. so much more enjoyable then kids planet would recommend.
Music is SO LOUD that you can’t hear what your child is saying to you, no air con so it’s boiling. Women’s and children’s shared toilets are covered in wee and blood all over toilet seats and floor. All soaps were full up with water so they didn’t have to buy new ones. Everything in the actual soft play bits is either really dirty or just completely broken. Baby area is for under 2.5 year olds, yet the big kids area is only suitable for 4+. Absolutely disgusting, do not bother
Venue is great if you want to let the kids just around and burn off some steam, but don’t opt for having a party here. The staff hosting the party lack enthusiasm as party hosts and did not interact with the children when they should have. Played 3 games all in all before food was served and 2 of the games involved the kids sitting around often looking bored and unsure of what was happening. Not to mention the 4 young female staff that sat on reception gassing and looking at the phones for a good 2 hours often missing the fact customers were standing there waiting to be served. Quite disappointed all in all which is a shame as the concept has so much more potential!
First visit and pleasantly surprised. Nice staff. Secure further children and good facilities. Also nice snack facilities with some tasty good offered. Thank you. I cannot Imagine..... why closed in the week ?
An amazing place to bring and lose the kids for a few hours. It's huge! The toilets are clean, with plenty of seating, entry and drinks are fairly priced, have a massive main soft play area for 3+years-ish, medium baby soft play area for up to 3 years-ish, a pit in the corner for cars, houses etc, 5-a-side soft football pitch. Looks clean and maintained every time we have been here. My 2 boys aged 5 & 10 prefer this one to all the ones in south east Kent!!
Impossible for parents with two children who are different ages. I have a 2 and 4 year old and was told I couldn’t sit in the child’s area as my daughter was too old even though it was empty as half hour away from closing time she was playing with her younger brother as if she goes in the larger area she gets pushed around by all the older children. We were told to leave her to play in the larger area and separate them by “Danielle” she was very rude and wasn’t very understanding of our situation. We had food here and for 2 children’s meals and 1 adult meal it was nearly £40! And there was no toilet roll in the toilets and just generally very unclean environment. If you wanted soft play near by I would highly recommend kidz planet over here. It’s impossible to have fun especially if your one parent with more than one child under 5. Won’t be coming back.
Made it too expensive it’s gone up from £7 to £9 just greedy and unaffordable which is a shame they used to be 2 hours play to justify the hike made it unlimited which no one will use! Two small slushes £5 also a rip off. No wonder the car park isn’t as busy !! In this climate it’s a shame!!
