I had a dress for a very special family occasion which i felt was too big around the top half although I convinced myself it was fine until the last minute. With two weeks to go, I took the plunge and consulted Munever at Image. Although she said it was a big job did I stay or did I go?, she promised me that it would be completed by the said date, so I left the precious dress in her capable hands. I need not have worried. Upon collection, it fitted perfectly and I was so pleased that I took the giant step. It ensured that when worn at my son’s wedding celebration, that it was exactly as it should be. Many thanks. My wedding dress needed a ton of work - tapering, sleeves shortened, waist brought in. They basically needed to remake the entire dress because it was way too big for me, and they did an AMAZING job!!!! It fits perfectly and you can't even tell that there's been any work done on it. Image is a fantastic find. I wanted to get my mother's 70s dress a size 18 altered to fit me size 10/12. Munerva, who runs Image, had her work cut out as it was quite a big job and it has used her expertise to ensure that it now fits beautifully. Despite being almost overrun by work altering wedding gowns this summer for the many weddings taking place post-pandemic, she managed to fit the job in and had the dress ready ahead of schedule. I could not recommend the service I received highly enough, I now want all my clothes tailored to fit me by Munerva!Service: Alterations
I came to Image to get my odd shaped wedding suit completely altered and they were incredibly helpful. The end result was a suit that fit like a glove and was very comfortable on the big day. They work quickly but due to their high quality work they are very busy so book an appointment in advance! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Service: Alterations
I came to Image to get a bridesmaid dress taken up at the bottom. Although there were some issues when I picked the dress up, Munever came in early the following day and went above and beyond to fix the dress in time. The prices are on the expensive side but the job was done to a high standard in the end.Service: Alterations
Took in some suit trousers for adjustment and a coat for repair. Munever turned them both round in 48 hours and the work is impeccable. This place is an absolute gem and now I’ve found it I wouldn’t go anywhere else for tailoring or repairs. Thank you very much indeed.
I fell in love with a dress for my sons baptism & had to buy it a size too small as it was the only one in stock. I came to image tailors believing my dress needed to be let out, however there wasnt enough fabric. Munever worked her angel hands and stretched it for me & within half an hour it fits like a glove! Thank you so much!
