Amazing business and a hidden gem! Yuksel and Bogusia have beautifully tailored many pieces of clothes for me, from trouser hemming to changing the shape of skirts I have. They're so kind and do such a great job, thank you! Located down the stairs in the back of the Organics shop, and they're also open on Mondays now even though Google says only Tues onwards. The place for alterations in Archway for sure.
Backing up everyone who commented on how rude the owner is. I took in various pieces and was shouted at, criticised, and had her comment on how one skirt was badly made lady, I didn't make it myself. I had seen good reviews, though, so crossed my fingers that her tailoring would be better than her manners. Well, it wasn't. She tried to overcharge me and when I went to pick up my clothes, only her son I think was there and he was nice but embarrassed because she wasn't in and didn't know where to find them. I looked in the storeroom myself, found them and said I was taking them and paying him - and he tried to stop me. This was in normal store hours! I feel sorry for the poor young man but would never go near that place again.
Yuksel is lovely, incredibly skilled and couldn’t have done more for me. She tailored, fixed and transformed several items of clothing and so pleased with all of them.
Yuksel is an excellent tailor who can make garments from scratch, undertake major alterations, restore or invisibly mend favourite garments and copy ones from scratch. She is the best seamstress I know, with excellent design skills, and I would unhesitatingly recommend her services. Every time I have got her to copy an item of clothing or restore something that has sustained damage or wear, she has been ready with helpful suggestions and done a really professional job.
Yuksel is the most amazing and talented dress maker. Friendly and easy to work with, she helped make a wedding dress for my daughter which was the most beautiful and stunning dress. A hidden gem in Archway. Thank you so much.
I can not recomment the Resurrection Boutique highly enough. Yuksel is not only an alterations genius, but she also makes you feel really comfortable and confident that she has your best interest at heart and will make you look stunning. She really did an absolutely amazing job with a dress enlargement and I can't thank her enough. Whatever your alteration requirements, go to the Resurrection Boutique, you won't regret it.
I will never set foot inside this shop again. Yuksel has been rude in the past but this time she was incredibly rude. I was a little surprised at how pricey an alteration was and her reply was to fling the garment across the table and say 'you want to do it yourself, you do it yourself'! 'You can find a dry cleaners and get it done cheaper' 'I am busy and haven't got time for this' then she left me half way through the discussion and walked into her alteration room. In the local area her terrible attitude to customers is pretty well known. Her work is pretty average. If I were you, I really wouldn't bother.
A delightful little jewel in the middle of Archway. The very best alterations I have found in North London. The owner is lovely friendly lady, a pure genius with her needle skills that can transform any garment into a masterpiece.
Has a couple of trousers taken in, tapered and repaired. Got the job done within the week and texted me to let me know when ready. Friendly service and the work was good. Had to wait outside for a little while when I went to collect as the owner was out the shop which was a little inconvenient but all in all the experience was good.
I only be here twice and I always find something I adore! The owner lady is amazing. The price is so good and she accepted 10%off student discount! Everything has been cleaned and ready to wear. Thxxx!
