love IKEA, and this one is particularly good. nice restaurant with yummy food including good vegan options, although I find it weird that it's half way through the shop, unlike the Nottingham branch where it's at the entrance. I also like that it's mostly on one floor, don't have to enter via massive creepy lifts like the Coventry branch. nice and clean, stylish displays, reasonably priced products, over all great experience. makes for a fun day out.
Very friendly staff. We were greeted at the entrance by a lovely lady who kept the kids busy with painting for a little while, they loved it. Shop has everything you would expect from and IKEA : very happy with our visit :
Love having a mooch around ikea :. It slightly changes and is looking good; great food and always love the Swedish meatballs and gravy… cool light area section which the baby was living looking at.. decor good and reasonable prices throughout
As usual wonderful stuff, good food and Easter egg hunt and other activities. There are some changes in the store and it looks nice for half term school holidays. The balloon man at the entrance will make a giraffe or lion or other 2. My daughter loved it.
What can I say about IKEA never disappoints. Instead of buying loads of home decor and as per usual, we bought a sofa. It was pretty easy to arrange a delivery two days later and the staff was super nice. Also, a hot dog is a must of course if you don't have enough time for the restaurant. I love their ideas regarding interior design all around and how they use minimal spaces to the maximum. I always get inspired there
Just had a kitchen planning meeting and it was brilliant. Helpful, and knowledgeable without being patronising. Felt in control and not like I was getting a hard sales pitch. Enjoyed cake and drinks at a good price. Fri late afternoon is a good time to go as it's not too busy. Love IKEA!
Lots of new displays. Some areas screened off where new displays are being constructed but doesn't disturb the shopping experience. Plenty of room and assistance for those less able. One lift at the end out of order but other options available fòr those that couldn't do the stairs. Restaurant superb selection, tasted excellent, and good value especially when you have one of the free IKEA Family Cards. Food Hall looked a bit empty compared to other times, some of the usual children's toys were missing.. out of stock or problems getting stock.. . Generally a very successful trip, spent more than I should have, which is usual in IKEA, I always find something that would be just handy somewhere .. and if you are looking for inspiration on how to change a room round, redecorate... it is worth a wander around just for the ideas.. it will help you decide what you do and don't like if nothing else Always a firm favourite for me .
Went for the veggie meatballs came out with 4 pillows an aloe Vera plant and a squeegee but no meatballs. An experience that fills the void since metroland closed
Visited to see if the could help with a repair to king sized bed, purchased over 10 years ago. To be honest I was not holding out much hope, but when the rest of the bed was structurally sound, and just the supporting struts had gone, really didn't want to landfill the bed. The guys at the circle hub were brilliant. I now how the replacement parts, no charge, and landfill can wait till another day. Just fingers crossed on the assembly now. We'll done ikea for being an environmental super hero!
Loads of free parking spaces. Store was busy but not too crowded. Very competitive prices and great choice of products. Restaurant area was clean and staff were very efficient with a fill as many times as you want on drinks. The only fault was That some of the deals were on a family card and the print on the advert was very small. Still a good shopping experience.
