The worst of the worst service they offer. I decided to donate most of the stuff as we are moving. Besides kids pen marks from the ikea drawers, bed side tables no scuff marks, completely fine wardrobes, single bed apparently I should have mattress along to donate all of which the pick up guys didn't find suitable. Not to mention I bought the same wardrobe from them, exactly same condition, not moved an inch from the place and the pick up guy started shaking it for evaluation. Think I should have prepared stuff from Barker and stones for the community transport to donate, upon which they could have made money by selling it at a higher rate and then charging 40 quid for the delivery on top of it. Given that when I called CT furniture, they mentioned that they also perform repairs. I made a mistake thinking about donating furniture for the community service, I should have made money by selling it myself. Good luck for your future.
This place is a gem. Second hand and surplus furniture great for anyone looking for something for their home . Brand new beds at a fraction of the high street. All profits go to fund community transport, for children with special needs, older people that need hospital transport. So a win win all round.
Neil, Paddy and Susan were absolutely amazing! I needed 4 cabinets for my office and they were happy to help. Great prices, great service, great quality products, what more could you ask for! They offered delivery and helped me get them into my car! 5 stars all round
V dodgy outfit. Bought a sofa, delivery people couldn't get it in the room we since got one the same size into the room. They took it away, and I still have no refund 4 months later. They said I was told I would get a credit note & that this is written up somewhere in store - which I wasn't made aware of. But I'm £125 down and don't even have a credit note, let alone a refund. So disappointed as bought from here as they are supposedly a charity.
First time using and very pleased with service. 2 things I bought online weren't in stock, however they more than made up for it and love what I got probably more than what I had ordered. Its how a business handles these things that counts and I will use again. They are a third of the price of BHF I was shocked at their prices. 3 very polite friendly guys brought furniture in for me each with a smile asking how I was. No complaints from me and I'm a tough customer!
A great Aladins cave of bargains. Purchased a very solid Pine wardrobe at an excellent price . The guys even helped carry it up to the freshly decorated bedroom. Will be watching their posts closely for my next bargin!
Ordered on Saturday delivered today. Very quick delivery, friendly staff and delivery was on time. The price was great too.
do not order from these people. they rang me in the morning and checked I would be in for a delivery. waited in all day they never turned up and never rang. went to see them today to get my money back on the item I have ordered and they have said it is a special order and as such it cannot be refunded. I was not told this at the time of purchase and find it ridiculous they will not refund given it is their fault. I suspect I may need to take legal action to get my money back.
Very good prices on items and cheap delivery across Newcastle. Although stock is unreliable, sometimes the whole stock is sold out, sometimes it's a gold mine.
This ‘charity shop’ is pricey. They are not willing to negotiate and I’m regretting my purchase after seeing that I could have purchased a new item for the same price. I agree with an earlier reviewer that there are a few jobsworths there, with the exception of a young lad who was very helpful.
