Ideal Electrical Solutions (UK) Edinburgh came were great. I asked them about putting in another socket into a room. They replied to my request (which I sent on a Sunday night) first thing on a Monday morning, and came to see my flat within half an hour. The electrician was very friendly. After explaining that the work I was requesting would involve taking up the floorboards which I did not want, he explained to me the alternative solution which I could do myself. I very much appreciated this honesty. The four stars reflects only the fact that they didn’t actually do any electrical work, but I would call them again in the future.

The Amnesty International Scotland office needed a major fire and electrical safety review and upgrade and Daryl & Chris from IES have been delightful to deal with throughout. Professional, prompt, polite, and forgiving my lack of information about passwords and suchlike. All at a very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended.

We needed a PAT test for the office - it was so easy to contact IES and arrange the visit. We actually needed to rearrange at short notice and it couldn't have been easier. The engineer arrived on time at finished the job with minimal disruption. 5 stars would use again.

IES carried out a safety check, and some upgrading of my electrics. I found them administratively organised, responsive and pleasant and easy to deal with both in the office and on the job. I was going to use the expression "switched on" but that would be an unacceptable pun. A couple of minor snagging issues were promptly and efficiently dealt with. But for those I'd have given full marks.

We were very happy with the work done. The electrician was knowledgeable, polite and happy to explain and answer any questions we had. I would recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work done.
