EDIT: ICELAND Store Cramlington inside of Manor Walks Shopping and Leisure Centre. This little ICELAND is a great small shop.. In the corner on it's own. Now it's closing down: After asking about I know it's been there as long as I can recall... My mam & dad even remember shopping in ICELAND which has been there as long as he & she can remember. when my dads side of the family moved to Cramlington Manor Walks Shopping Centre as it was then was barely anything the Co-op was where ASDA is Safeway was where Sainsbury's now basically stands only it used to go right the way down to where The Yorkshire Trading Company is now. The shopping centre was mainly outside up at the top in them days you can actually see where the original entrance was today if you walk on in to the main Mall Entrance up at the Sainsbury's end and walk down as you get so far you'll notice a line in the floor where the tiles change colour/pattern to the original Manor Walks flooring the colour scheme in them day's was burgundy & silver with Hugo the hippo mascot. So the flooring matched the colour scheme. In Fact, you can even see reliques of the original style lighting that was used in the shape of the original logo for Manor Walks it was sort of 2 Diamonds but it was really just an M with a W underneath it and the lights matched this along the walls they are sort of warm white with little bulbs. There is so much history surrounding this shopping centre both inside and outside you would never know unless you'd been here to see the changes throughout time... Now as for ICELAND it's leaving us due to them opening the much bigger brother of ICELAND the food warehouse where Argos once stood. This does make sense and the last time I was in the mini store as it's now known it's being stripped down so if you're wanting to visit before it goes you have but a couple of days left!
2nd time we have been in to buy Apple Pies. Both times the on view offer ticket is different to what comes up at checkout. Todays offer 2 for £3 at check out, no offer £1.75 each. After queering the offer was 3 for £5 or £1.75 each. It must be 3 or 4 weeks same thing happened. Hate to think how many people have bought them at offer price and been charged a different price at checkout. This store in the Mall closes very soon.
Always a treat to pop into Iceland. They have some lovely food. Not much good for the waistline but so enjoyable! The prices are very favorable so take a look at your local branch and I feel sure you'll agree.
Manageress is very rude at this cramlington branch . Asked for another team member to go on a till to reduce a verylong quene at another check out and was rude told me she didn,t see how big the quene was 20 customers deep. No customer service skills inter acting with customers. Get it together and act as part of a team. In Covid Times.!!!!
The aials at Iceland Cramlington do not allow for a good customer experience! They are far too narrow especially when staff are also filling fridges everything comes to a stop! I guess because this store is so small it regularly fails to stock many items that Whitley Bay has and this is a pain! Why cant you look at a relocation? Surely the business is making profit how much more will it make by moving to a larger unit AND employ more staff? I will not return to cramlington until and unless you relocate to larger premises
I love this shop and would score it a 5 ,the staff are friendly and always cheerful ,however I am very disappointed to find out today there is no delivery from this store ,this will impact the store and the shoppers who rely on being able to get delivery, sort it out Iceland!!!
Cheap and cheerful. May have gotten 5 stars if a new member of staff hadn't been left without a more experienced member to guide her.
Small but compact has everything you require from a Iceland store. Easy to navigate and great staff ho are very help full..
Pleased with the home delivery service. Now that i am getting older and cannot carry things its handy. Limited stock but sell the heavy basics.
Cramped and dated store, with limited selection of goods compared to the bigger stores. The Iceland food warehouse is coming to Cramlington so hopefully this store will close
