Always friendly staff at the checkouts. Good range of foods and freezers clearly marked, making shopping very easy. Clean and tidy. Wish Iceland stores had self checkouts too as queuing can be a problem at busy times if you only have a few items.
There was a lovely young lady on the till who was having problems with the till, she had been left completely alone in the shop. The lady had been pressing the bell for help for quite a long time and I had gone and knocked on the staff door a few times as a massive que had developed and the lady was clearly distressed. At this point I decided to call the store I was in and ask for someone to come and help the lady. The man in the photo eventually apeared claiming to be the assistant manager and instead of apologising for the delay, he had a problem with the fact I called the shop. He was overly agressive and had zero customer service or management skills He didn,t even show the girl at the till how to fix the issue he just moved her aside and did his thing. Terrible managment if he really is the assistant manager
Small compaired to most other stores but stocked everything we required, friendly staff, no parking other than on the highstreet so it's a case of shopping then nipping to get the car and load up before the traffic warden gets you or getting a delivery
The staff one person in particular are rude & obnoxious, quite young I think so possibly have no people skills & definitely need staff training. The website states the store closes at 6.30pm today so I walked over just before 5pm to be told "it's closed" I tried to tell her that the website said differently so she shouted really sarcastically "were closed !! " Supoosdley some kind of manager ! We're supposed to shop locally but who would want to when you come up against a moody rude obnoxious member of staff who's full of self impostance ! Happy New Year !!!!

I will never do a home delivery again!! Prebooked a xmas slot for 23rd December to arrive between 5 pm and 7 pm. On the day the store called to say that the slot had been overbooked and could I take delivery between 7 pm and 9 pm which I agreed to. The order did not go out for delivery until 9.15 pm and was at that stage the 9th delivery with an estimated delivery slot 9.54 pm to 10.54 pm. At 10.38 pm the driver called to say that the van had broken down and I could get my order between 3 pm and 5 pm on Christmas Eve. I had no choice but to cancel the order and now have to go to Tesco to get my shopping and hope the items are there. If I have helped out the store by amending the initial delivery time why was I not one of the first to be delivered to and when they couldn't deliver why then offer a 3 pm - 5 pm slot the following day? I understand that it is busy at Christmas but this has been a badly managed situation with no contact from Management - just a driver who was probably overworked and in a very stressful situation.
I go there almost everyday and in no way is the management terrible all the staff are nice nicely stocked
Mixed feelings about this Iceland... the staff in store are always very pleasant- particularly the nice lady on the till. However the home delivery service I received from here was abysmal- the delivery driver was incredibly rude. I couldn’t quite believe how she spoke to me at the time! I’ll just go in store in future.
Iceland looks clean, bright and well-stocked. The choice, quality and prices are very good and the staff always seem cheerful. I've been shopping there many years and have never been disappointed!
Special thanks to Dan for excellent service: Still friendly after what I'm sure was a busy day in town and I appreciate being allowed in just as the store was about to close - GIVE THE MAN A PAY RISE! Also great iceland have ditched palm oil in their own ranges.
