Terrific store with lots of great products. Super selection of local fruit and veg, some lovely looking high end deli items, and fab bakery section. Also some of the best range of beers that I've seen. Contains a variety of supermarket staples if you need those too. Not cheap but for a range of great food that is less expensive than going to a restaurant, I can't fault it. I can't fault it.
Well worth a visit if you're grocery shopping in Whitstable. Wide range of high quality products, and healthy living and clean eating foods. It's more expensive than most other shops, so if you want cheap go to Iceland over the road, but if it's an unusual ingredient you're after, head to Eat17.
Childsize trolleys and free fruit for children! A joy to shop with a toddler. Expensive but has some things difficult to find elsewhere. Some organic vegetables, corn cakes, sheep's cheese etc. Deli counter and some local special sandwiches. Good for visitors. Friemdly helpful staff.
Nice selection of produce, some of the staff are friendly, but there is the odd one that is really rude. Also, maybe put up a sign that says ‘we are happy to pack your stuff, please ask’ rather than have a plastic bag chucked at you and a surly answer of ‘I’m scanning, I can’t do both’ No, you’re right. It is hard to scan and pack, you poor thing! NOT! Maybe some new staff training is required?
Last time i looked they were having a closing down sale. Good choice of food range and a very posh for a spar shop bit to pricey for my liking when there is Iceland and a small Sainsburys near by
Definitely made me want to stay another day here. Fab selection of deli-style food, drink, including "free from" ranges. Some can be expensive, but goes with the territory. Friendly staff and tasty food!
I think this is one of the best equipped supermarkets I have ever been to. What a selection of goods! Freshly baked sausage rolls, craft ales and local fruit!
Another ground breaking retail store from Eat17! Lots of niche and unique products, great to browse and get inspiration with lots of subtle in store theatre too. Very clean store and well stocked.
Some great produce. Generally quite pricey though and sometimes limited range. I highly recommend their brownies though and their fresh pressed orange juice is a nice touch
Really nice to see such a good range of local products and all the usual stuff too, great idea for a supermarket. Staff were really friendly too and enjoyed buying some local produce.
