Every year the 6 of us attending the Albert Hall once or twice and it is our second year in arrow we have booked a table at Hyde Perk Bistro for the pre show dinner and glass of wine after the show, We have enjoyed a great meal with excellent service, the wine list is spot on with good price range and the 8 cheese platter selection is a must, every cheese got a story and Frederic the manager and his staff will tell you about. Great jazz and is a must visit if you come to Kensington.
I would like to tell you about the nice meal I had at Hyde Perk Bistro prior to seeing a performance at the nearby Royal Albert Hall. It was explained that we needed a speedy turnaround to make the start of the show. Unfortunately, despite repeated assurances from the staff, the Chef never turned up on time and we missed the start of the performance. We were not the only people to have been let down either.
What a find! Inexpensive yet delicious croissants and drinks, subtle ambience and great service, and it was warm on a cold Feb day!
Great burger and nice people. Food is simple but absolutely tasty.
Like Central Perk but for London :D!
