The quality of the projection and sound was quite good. The seats were comfy. Worth noting the seating is mostly level unlike stadium seating so you are looking up at the screen. Not a big gripe and after a while you don't notice. I would be back.
Great movie theater, cheap prices! If you don't like talking to people, you can book on machines while there. All in all, great movie experience.
It's a great experience not so crowed with people. You get to watch the latest movies, choose your seats good deals on snacks just what you want with big families.
Very good seevice here and got to use my reel club rewards. Any discount is appreciated when school holidays are on. The reel club is why I always go to Readings.
Honestly prefer this cinema to the event cinema, it's less crowded and more comfortable of an environment for me.
Disappointing experience : we came for Avatar2 in 3D, after about 10 minutes the film stopped, smth happened to the power. The staff tried to fix it for about 15-20min, then the movie started again, but 3d didn't work well, the picture blurred. We asked for a refund because it's just a waste of time and money to watch Avatar in such an ugly quality. Although i must admit the staff did their best and even offered us free ice cream because of the inconvinience. One more thing - there is no light for numbers in the rows, how am I supposed to guess in a dark hall which row is mine? Bad UX
after 200 hours of walking through the wasteland of Lower Hutt, I realized Jabba was nowhere to be found. Until I saw this theater. I sat down to watch Return of the Jedi and was so impressed that I gave this place 3 stars.
The nostalgia of hoyts hutt city alone is enough for the 5 stars. But besides that they brought the movies back to lower hutt city following the kaikoura quakes which we've taken our kids to enjoy countless times.
My Husband and Whanau with friends went to see Muru it was a interesting movie. The guy that served us was amazing and very customer friendly. The food is expensive but asked him for a better deal for a huge group and he helped out heaps. The only down fall is no toilets available and it needs more excitement. I hope your moving into the mall.
Good service and venue, prices are lower than most cinemas.... Food and drinks are crazy-expensive, the only negative.
