Fun spot with decent food. Some of the sauces were tasty other times they used too much and it overpowered the food. However I still liked the place and courtyard seating as well. Friendly service.

Staff were excellent, polite and helpful. Drinks were ordered and delivered speedily, the food order similarly efficiently taken and delivered back to our table. We both had the 2 course for £9 offer which meant that the starter and main arrived together. (which was perfectly fine) as we were on a bit of a time crunch anyway. The fried dumplings were lovely, really tasty and piping hot. The main was also delicious. Overall a really good experience. Would recommend.

Have ate in Bar Soba twice now (second time in mitchel lane). Both times i ended up with an upset stomach. Food is nice but very rich and way over seasoned. Dumplings and cheesburger springrolls are nice though. Very few staff working the night we were there so service was slow. Staff were lovely though. A lot nicer place to have a meal than mitchel lane.

Love Soba! Delicious food, not too expensive (except for the great cocktails that are as expensive as they're good). Good student discount for lunch! Very nice staff!

Some good "street" food in here, i used the "" as im not sure if some of the menu hold up as true traditional - i might be wrong though. The Thai fries were spot on and the tempura veg a delight.
