It's a lovely place to walk your dogs, or have a stroll in general. Very peaceful. It's a nice long stretch of the Thames, & it's part of the Thames path. There is a touring caravan site here too. Seasonal.
Really impressed with this huge well laid out campsite, huge amounts of space on each site and really well secluded from your neighbours. the toilet blocks are very good and really well located, a very short walk takes you through the secure Gates straight to the River Thames which many people were using 2 take their boats out, we will definitely be coming back here.
Lovely park right on the Thames.Good clean facilities, no club but kids love the river and its near Legoland Windsor.
Just got back from 5 nights stay here and we love it. We have stayed numerous times. The walk along the Thames path up to the lock is great. Due to the hot weather We all swam in the Thames including the dogs but mind the swans! Few nice pubs near by, fish n chips van on a Friday is a great idea as u don't want to cook after a drive! Local to Marlow, henley and Windsor. Great campsite with a lovely feel
Have visited multiple times and stayed in static caravans. I would go back every year if I could. Such a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. Peaceful and picturesque and the surrounding areas are lovely to visit. My favourite holiday destination.
The staff really let this place down. This is a huge site right near the Thames, but the staff are horrible. They had a long list of rules before Covid, but now it is twice as long. Their social distancing measures are either poorly devised or very poorly executed. Simon checked us in. This involved him leaning on my car window without a mask while conducting some odd witch-hunt for someone who apparently booked online, but they had somehow decided wasn't "their type". I will never stay with these imbecilic bigots again. I hear there's a much friendlier campsite in nearby Marlow.
Beautiful campsite by the river Thames. Clean showers and toilets. Very friendly stuff. Perfect location för long walks and visits. Windsor, Henley and Marlow are so beautiful. Train to London from Maidenhead or Slough to Paddington Station. We visit this site once a year. Love it!
These people have no heart we booked 2 nights in our caravan for this weekend booking was placed on Monday tried to cancel on wed as sold our van they would not refund us or even gives us a new date to take up in the future
Stayed here in Sept 21 for 3 nights . No hot water . Showers where filthy and toilets. smell was so bad . The park wasn't that busy to be out of hot water . Not a good experience . Won't be returning . Would avoid at all costs waste of money .
