We love coming here on holiday, the park is clean and tidy with a wide range of caravans. It's ideally located of you want to visit North Norfolk, there is a beach just a few minutes walk away and an even better one just 5 minutes away in Old Hunstanton. The swimming pool on site is part inside and part outside, the restaurant is handy with a good choice of food ,although we tended to eat out. Whilst there isn't a grocery store on site, Tesco's is close by which is handy. Manor Park is one of the places that you keep coming back to.
I took my daughter and 2 grandsons here for 4 days. The weather very pleasant for October and the boys made a few friends which gave my daughter who is a full time teacher time to relax. Nice site with swimming pool. Great for families. Playground: The kids enjoyed the playground Dog-friendliness: We didn't take our dog but there were lots on the site
Immaculately kept holiday park. Beautiful caravans. Nice green spaces between vans. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Large clubroom but cannot comment as didn't use. On site resturant. Really enjoyable stay. Would recommend.
We visited for the first time when we arrived we were told that we could get food from the restaurant, however when we got there at 2.30 we were told that food was only served after 5 and that the chef was on a break, this didn't go down well with my autistic son who thought he was eating here, we had to go somewhere else to eat. When we got to the park there was no barrier or security meaning anyone could walk in and around the park so didn't feel safe. When we got to our caravan I found a half eaten cracker under the bed so it hadn't been thoroughly checked. When we went to the evening venue on one night a staff member was dressed really inappropriately considering that there was children's entertainment on looked like she was dressed for a night out highly inappropriate!!!. On another evening trying to order food and drinks was hard, being told that drinks were included for the children's meals which I ordered to then notice they charged extra, when I raised this she didn't understand what I meant then someone in charge came and took the order repeatedly calling me 'babe' which I found uncomfortable, ordered a draught for my husband to be told most of them were not on, when we received the children's meals they didn't eat most of it as in my 4 year old daughters words she said she didn't like it.
Lovely place to go and chill out. I believe it has a swimming pool, restaurant and entertainment on site, but never been. Rather walk down to the beach which is a 5min walk away. The main Hunstanton town is about 15min walk on the roads, or a bit more down the seafront.
My daughter stayed in a chalet that was damp with black mould on the walls. The sofa was really stained and we'll past its sell by date and it was extremely uncomfortable. There was no heating in the bathroom, not even a towel rail. Very basic accommodation! My daughter was too polite to complain to management, but wouldn't book a chalet again.
Excellent holiday site. Shame the weather wasn't there, but anyway. Only let down was, there is no on-site shop, so you have to go the local Tesco for any shopping you want. Restaurant/Pub was also very good. Would definitely recommend, and go again.
Our first stay at this resort was from Fri 12/08/22 to Mon15/08/22 & was booked through Hoseasons. We booked a Hummingbird caravan & given a check in time of 4pm by Hoseasons by email & also by Park Dean. We arrived at the park went straight to the caravan to find it was a mess & had not been cleaned. We reported the issue to the reception to be told that Hoseasons had misinformed us, that check ins were from 5pm onwards. A new freezer was being installed in the caravan so we had to wait for this to be done, then had to wait over an hour for the caravan to be cleaned. When we returned home enquired about the check in time with yourselves to find that the check in time was in fact 4pm so we had been lied to by the reception team. We were so happy with the Hummingbird that we immediately booked to stay in October directly with Park Dean in a Hummingbird. Our second stay was from Fri 14/10/22 to Mon 17/10/22 Again, booked a Hummingbird. After we had checked in online, we received our caravan details which stated we had a complimentary upgrade to a Redhead. We arrived at the caravan, we found that the Redhead was nowhere near the quality or spec of a Hummingbird. The Redhead had more beds which were not required, narrower hallways less space in the kitchen & lounge areas. There was one TV which was not a modern spec like what we had previously in the Hummingbird i.e. no online connectivity for Netflix etc, there were no baking trays, it looked & felt dated & was not what we booked. We also found quite a lot of pubic hairs covering the base of the shower. We arrived after 6pm, we were unable to speak to reception to resolve the issue so planned to speak with them in the morning. Saturday I spoke with the manager Chloe about the issues to which I was told that she could not understand why we had been given the upgrade as there was no comments on the booking. She also told me that we could not be moved to a Hummingbird as there were none available. I challenged the spec of the Redhead compared with the Hummingbird to be told that the previous Hummingbird we had was a private rental & that’s why the facilities were better & modern, we weren't aware of this as we had booked through a holiday company. She said that there was an Eagle caravan available but would have to pay an extra £100 as it was a higher spec. I challenged that as they were able to give us a complementary upgrade to the Redhead costing £70 as per our email, why could they not give us the same complementary upgrade as we had not received what we had booked. Chloe’s response was that she, nor her boss, had the authority to grant that request and that “we” would have to speak with customer relations to sort it out. We spoke to Tanya who is part of the customer relation’s team she couldn’t understand why Chloe had informed us that there was no Hummingbird available as she was looking at one on the system as we spoke. Tanya then tried several attempts to get hold of Chloe on reception. After about 45 minutes she did. Tanya rang us to confirm she had arranged for us to be moved later that day. When we finally were able to go to the new van we could clearly see we hadn't been upgraded previously the Hummingbird again was fabulous. Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with some of the reception teams customer service, problem solving, attitudes & behaviours. I understand & appreciate that problems will arise & not everything runs smooth but it’s how you deal with the issues that defines the reputation of the business. Tanya listened to our concerns reacted. We let the 1st mishap go regarding the check in times. We queried this to customer service but we never complained. After this stay we felt we had the right to complain to Park Dean. We sent an email to Head office & have since had a reply basically thanking us for our feedback and thats it. No we will be back in touch, now are terribly sorry nothing. Just totally fobbed off. I’m really disappointed this is how Park Dean treat their customers. This would have become a regular holiday park for us.
Very nice and well laid out resort all staff are helpful and friendly, close to beach and town. Tesco is 5 mins walk from park. Modern well laid out and equipped caravans. Would visit again.
Hunstanton is a great place for families whatever the weather The caravans are well equipped Parkdean is a quiet resort which is great for young families The pool is great, the lifeguards are very friendly and give the children their unguided attention The beach and town are a short walk away We love it and return year after year
