Went for a meal for my boyfriend’s birthday with his family and we loved it! The portions were big for what we had. I had the great American sizzler which was still sizzling when I received it! The prices were price was cheap for what we had. The Atmosphere was very relaxing and calm. We will definitely visit here again.
I think the best thing about Hungry Horse pubs is the consistency in the menu, no matter which one you go to. There's always a range of meals for veggies, gluten-free, low cal etc. The portions are good for the prices paid, and they have good offers on, on various days of the week. The meal photographed is the vegetarian Tikka Tower, with battered cauliflower pieces, fries, flatbread, poppadom, curry sauce and mango chutney. You don't get a full poppadom, which I thought was weird ‍ but the meal is filling as it is. I don't like how the meal is served on a wooden board. Surely a ceramic plate would be more hygienic and easier to clean. The location of this one is ok - close to pay and display and bus station. Shops and theatre nearby. Some outdoor seating. They always seem short staffed in this pub so I never phone to book a seat, just do it online as the phone just rings as there aren't enough staff to answer it. The staff are always friendly and helpful even though they're rushed off their feet. ‍ An all-round decent pub for some decent grub
I love this place ! Me and my boyfriend come here so often , they must know our order by now! The staff are great ! Very friendly , good atmosphere, great for a quick meal and great value for money. Will be back here asap !

always enjoy here. Cheap and cheerful. The food is good for the price. Good service, sometimes they seem to be short staffed but there’s never a long wait for the food.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Beautifully cooked, a very reasonable price and friendly helpful staff.
Food wasn’t great chicken burger was nice but the beef burger was disgusting! Service was on point the lady couldn’t do enough! The place definitely needs a refurbishment or a dam good clean it stunk as we walked in. The tables were sticky and so were the chairs. Safe to say I won’t returning
Wonderful food. Excellent service. Very efficient. Buy one get one free burger on Friday , can’t go wrong !
Cheap and cheerful, food can be a bit bland in my opinion and there usually lots of families with noisy children here. I had the halloumi sandwich which comes with onion rings and fries. Plenty of options for vegetarians but not so many for vegans.
