Beautiful restaurant/pub. Friendly staff and a good pub vibe with dedicated eating areas. Kids loved the meals. Gluten free selection is good and my steak was perfectly cooked. Definitely be dining here again. My Sister had a wonderful Birthday celebration at this quaint, comfy pub. Thanks for a great evening meal.
Delicious food! Warm welcome, better to download the Greene King app before you go. You can pay by Google pay, PayPal or credit/debit card. Checkout the offers that vary every day with excellent offers on set menu. Huge portions! Yummy taste. Would be 5 stars but tables were sticky and one starter was undercooked. Staff super super friendly.

Ample parking at rear and an outside seating area next to the little Monks Brook stream.. Very picturesque if you choose to sit outside! ... 3. Service: Quick and efficient service from very friendly and helpful staff... 4. Quality: Truly delicious food prepared by fantastic chef Curtis... Thank you Chef, we send you our best compliments.... 5. Amazing prices : the best value for money we have found yet.... 6. Its just down the road from where we live! Why on earth have we not been here before? We've been missing out on this lovely place for years! Highly recommended, an we'll be back!!
Nice little pub, perfect to grab a bite to eat. Prices are incredibly cheap and portions enormous due to being part of Hungry Horse chain. Staff were not particularly attentive to us on our stay, no one came and asked how our meals were. I called a waitress to point out something was missing from my dinner and she said "Oh I think we ran out". No sorry, no offer to replace or reduce price. But... When food is that cheap I didn't feel I could complain. Will def go again if we can't be bothered to cook and want cheap big meal. So many offers to support families and older people too.
Really friendly pub, management and bar staff. Great menu, wide selection. Something for everyone. I had jerk chicken, peas n rice. Main courses to lire bites, burgers pizzas steaks large and small. Large car park, disabled access front and rear. Pool table, friendly locals. Shame there's no accommodation...
Typical chain pub restaurant, don't expect a locals pub with character but typical Greene King fayre, food is OK, ale has been poor on more than one occasion now. Was drinking Speckled Hen and it was cloudy and although tasted OK was off putting, previous visit had same issue. Head to The Crown a mile or so away for a better experience. The plus points were staff friendly and efficient and toilets clean.
Nice place for our lunch visit, was unplanned due to attitude from The white Swan, so came here and will be back again. Rated 5 star for food hygiene, cozy and warm. Good service and food. Ample parking.
Had an errand in the area, so parked up in the pub car park, went and did, then came back for food. A little difficulty with allergens, so I went for second choice. Food was excellently cooked and quite a generous portion. Well worth a visit with the friendly and accommodating service.

Really lovely staff but disappointed with the availability of food. With the food we ordered there was at least three things not available on the menu which had to be substituted. Also didn’t have the wine I wanted. Some serious supply issues happening. Good for a casual drink but I just wouldn’t visit again for the food as can’t rely on the menu.
