It is a lovely, peaceful and quiet place not far from Hull. The park itself has toilets and picnic facillities and a walk through the park takes you to the Humber with stunning views of the bridge. You can also walk or cycle along the side of the water for miles or have a drink in the pub which overlooks the water, although outdoor seating can be difficult to get in summer when the pub is packed on the weekends and holidays.

Lovely place to visit,  great views, walks even fishing. Very popular so it gets busy on sunny days. Not much for shoppers but the country park inn is nearby serving food and drinks.

Terrific food and very well kept ales. My only criticism is that it's a bit pricey, though not outrageous. A nice treat!

Great place for all and a modern layout to the truly wild place (what better than a totally abandoned quarry) us older folk played in as kids. Nice to see the place protected even if it means it is less of a wildernesses. Still a place of enjoyment for young and old alike.

Went to the Humber market, it was lovely to see all the produce from local people and businesses. And perfect for something a bit different. Ideal for families looking for a cheap day out, plenty of parking, disabled parking, a nice walk with the dog and kids, park and toliets, then go for a wander round the market for some amazing tasters and even grab a bite to eat or something for dinner.
