I can only agree with the reviews.nParking here requires time and patience. The first 3-4 levels are blocked, with a bit of luck you can find a space from level 4 onwards... The lift is out of order! Payment only online.nRidiculous
Public parking only on 4th 5th and 6th floors. I have never seen the lifts working so completely inaccessible if you have mobility issues. Due to the number plate recognition you have to pay to find this out. I have emailed previously about lack of disabled access but had no reply.
No disabled parking, but don't find this out until you get to about the third level. Then find out the lift is not working so had to climb the stairs down and back up. The spaces are narrow, for someone with problems with knees makes it very difficult to get in and out of the car. Would not recommend this car park. The only good thing was that it was close to the old town. Wouldn't recommend to anyone, feels as though owner does not want to spend money and I've never been in a car park before that does not accommodate blue badge holders but can allocate spots to businesses. Thumbs down from me.
All the lower levels are reserved, so we were force to go to the 5th level. Vert narrow ramps. The lifts were out of order, so we had a long walk down. Automatic number plate recognition worked well, but no receipt given. Useful location near the museums.
Up until now, this has been a really affordable car park especially for local staff who were able to get a discount. Overnight, they have changed their charging system to pay as you leave, with hugely elevated prices, meaning I now pay 3 times as much as I used to. I won't be using this car park again.
