HSBC started loosing the great brand's name! Previously I was very disappointed with Ealing Business branch. Few times I was refused to be served due to my signature (what?) - my face is my signature. Despite this experience in Ealing I started using Richmond and opened Business Account! Years ago. 10 days ago I spoke with Telephone banking team which refused me to update my details over the phone. Fair enough. They encourage me to send a letter to Richmond Branch Manager to update my details with all references from Telephone banking team. This morning I had to call to this branch to make sure that my address have been changed - I was asked probably 30 questions about my business account. My question was: have you received my letter? Everything was tracked - they received on Thursday 22 of March. At first attempt the lady in Business Banking told me that the letter was not received, then it was received, then my letter is being processed by the head office. As the best escape I was offered the same stupid offer: issue a complaint with our complaint department! I need to pay wages, not writing complaints. However the story continued again with a Telephone Banking team. Who even told me that my letter was not received OR declined at the branch by the manager!!! Whom I need to trust? I called again to telephone banking to ask if I can speak to the manager who advised me what to do. Obviously - the lady who was asking me same security questions was able to block me on telephone banking, by telling me that I did not pass security when I answered same 3 security questions over and over again! NOW I HAVE TO FLY 3000km to make an amendment face-to-face! Such unprofessional and bad service - bad is too good to be called! The worst! Get different bank, not HSBC!

Awful experience and service recently from HSBC. They’ve messed up by changing my name on my account. No response and despite raising an official complaint, weeks ago no one has picked up my complaint. I’m supposed to have a relationship manager who I emailed twice to no avail (as in didn’t bother responding). A cheque I deposited in December is taking them 8 weeks to show on my account ( hasn’t yet). I’m simply shocked and appalled.

'Shameful' doesn't even come close...lost a form that I personally handed in, refused to give me a telephone number for the branch itself so I could speak to them, refused to make contact internally and get it resolved. The only offer to resolve the situation was for me to repeat the whole process. I will not be doing that....but I will be moving banks.
