Not one for leaving reviews but my Missus recently bought a car through HPL and our sales person was Reece and he was brilliant from start to finish. Engaging, personable, knowledgeable and professional and due to the car needing a new battery, he even came in on his day off to finish off the paperwork on the day we collected the new car. Better than coming in on his day off, due to the backlog in the valet workshop due to the volume of cars sold, Reece even cleaned it himself, we weren't that bothered to be honest but Reece was adamant he didn't want to let one of his cars go without a full clean. Great service, would use again and full credit goes to Reece. Thanks HPL.
Recently got my second car from HPL Oldham and once again received great customer service. Our sales rep was Charlie and he was great. We’d highly recommend seeing Charlie as he went above and beyond to get us the best deal and ensure the car was in excellent condition.
This is our 3rd car from HPL and it wont be our last. Michael Flynn was fabulous, really helpful, knowledgeable and patient. Highly professional and listened and understood my requirements. Fabulous service and excellent value for money. Couldn’t recommend HPL or Michael enough. Happy Christmas all Tracy Minshull
BUYERS BEWARE IF YOU BUY ONLINE FROM HPL MOTORS OLDHAM LEFT ONE STAR AS NO OPTION TO LEAVE LESS ! We ordered , paid for car and paid privately for delivery as they wanted £450 to have delivered a Blue Peugeot 208 Allure Premium 2021 reg number MD70NHM £16499 so not exactly a cheap banger. Before purchasing I specifically asked about condition of bodywork etc. This was a main priority as we stayed in Scotland. & had recently rejected a car from another major dealer as it was delivered with multiple scratches etc. 'ARI' Arash Enayati the salesman pointed out a micro stone chip and a very small scratch, other than that he said it's in very good condition, This led us to purchase the car in good faith on his alleged honesty on the condition of car ! When the car was delivered I noticed straight away the car had been spray painted, the entire passengers side was painted ,looked like some back street garage job , blotchy paint, runs, very bad orange peel, dust under clear coat , even painted over a deep scratch ,paint along window rubber, on mirror even painted over keyhole on handle, over spray etc. etc. I was absolutely gutted ' NOT AGAIN' I thought Contacted 'ARI ' the salesman with an eye for detail.... His reply was: I'm sorry your not happy with the condition of the car.. 'you have 14 days to return to us at your own cost' Spoke to another 'sales rep' he said he was the purchaser of the 208 for hpl and it did have bad scratches that needed repaired. I gave them the option of getting the car booked into a local body shop and having paint done properly or refunding £1000 and I would have reluctantly arranged this myself. They were not interested at resolving the botched paintwork ... I had to pay for car to be returned ! If like myself you are a distance away , be aware they take £1 a mile off price paid for every mile driven over 20 miles even though the mis sold car was being returned DUE TO NON FAULT, or they charge £1.50 +vat per mile to collect . On return of car to HPL my delivery driver said around four men came out had a look and agreed it was a mess and apparently the valeter should have noticed before it was released. I am now £500 out of pocket for delivery & insurance costs through no fault of my own . 14 emails and phone calls to no avail , every time told another manager dealing with it and he is not in till Mon ,Sat ,Wed etc. etc. HPL Motors refusing to compensate any of my outlay whatsoever . IF YOUR GOING TO PURCHASE ONLINE , I RECOMEND THAT YOU DON'T They are your best friend until the minute they have your cash ,This is the point of no return after which there's NO CUSTOMER AFTER CARE THEY HAVE ' SINCE 'PUT IN TRAINING AFTER I'M £500 OUT OF POCKET
Absolutely over the moon with my new car I purchased 18/01/23. Howard who was my sales advisor was so helpful and professional , I felt I wasn’t pressured and he made me feel at ease , he went through and explained everything I needed to know. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves!
I have just bought a car from James Booth at HPL. He was great help from the minute I walked in, very approachable and lovely. He was great, not pushy at all and gave me plenty of time to decide on what I wanted to do with the many options he offered. James didn’t rush me, he took his time to make sure I understood everything within the process. The car had a service, MOT and it was ready to collect within 3 days which was perfect! I would definitely recommend the garage and James if you are looking to buy a car. Overall 5star service from James. Thank you for a great car buying experience!
Great experience from the moment we entered HPL Oldham. Matt greeted us with warmth and professionalism which carried out through out our time together. He keep me posted throughout the process. He was patience and understanding with no hard sell. Customer service the way it should be. All the staff we interact with Joe and Anthony to name a few gave the same professional interaction with a top slice of family caring. Great selection of cars, clean building and with free tea and coffee. My drive way experience was top draw with the car being give to me as close to new as a second hand car can be.
We’ve bought from this company for the past 20 years because they get the balance just right. The price of the car is the price of the car. It’s not an opportunity to test your haggling skills. However they do look after you by giving you excellent p/x deals and outstanding warranty prices. There’s never any pressure to sell. They just want to do their best to find you the car that’s right for you. Alfie took care of us at every step, keeping us fully informed and sorting out everything for us which made the process smooth and easy to follow. He clearly cares about his work and he wants the best for his customers. Brilliant guy. We originally went in to exchange my husband’s car only but I saw one and then there were two! I’ve heard prices go up in the New Year so if you’re thinking about it pop in now and when you see the car you want, go for it. They fly out. Thanks HPL, it’s been a pleasure as always. We’ll see you in 5 years
I purchased my second car from HPL Oldham 3 months ago and received amazing customer service. My sales rep was Lee and he was great. I’d 100% recommend seeing Lee as he went above and beyond to help me get the car I wanted as I’m a young driver and was my first time purchasing a car for myself. He helped me so much understanding everything couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Visited HPL Oldham in our search for a new car, and had a great experience. Michael Flynn was great, providing us access to all vehicles of interest and explaining the various features of each. When we eventually came to buying the car, Michael was thorough in explaining the various finance options and possible extras, but was never over-bearing or pushy about which we should take! Prior to collecting the car Michael kept in regular contact to let us know how the service and various checks were progressing, which gave good peace of mind. Overall, a pleasant experience with knowledgeable staff and excellent customer service ! We will definitely be back although hopefully not too soon !
