Bad experience with rude staff when I asked about their much advertised discounted barbour deals. In fact, when I proved to them that there was not one barbour item in the mens department that was on discount I was told to go away. Probably why this branch is usually empty. Go and see for yourself. It's like a haunted freak show - not at all suprised that it is closing down
Really good selection of stuff across multiple floors. Good range of brands to suit most budgets. Feels quite novel going to a department store now that Debenhams has gone in Leeds. You definitely get the familiar department store experience of the waft of perfume as you walk in the door from all the beauty stuff!
I love this store. Always end up buying something. Great choice of designer handbags and clothing. Shame it is closing down.
Would give them zero if I could, queued at 2 unattended tills for 5 mins to pay for a pair of jeans but nobody seemed interested in taking my money,strange way to run a business really,ended up putting them back and going to John Lewis and buying from them instead.poor service.
Bought a couple of cardigans for holiday, look nice, but poor quality, found holes in them when I got home, not what I expected so didn't check them
A bit depressing unfortunately as it was closing down. Have to say though that the items on sale were just over-priced & even with the 20% or 50% discount, they weren’t worth buying. A sad end…
The customer service here is abs beyond my words I ordered an item online cp company jacket that was supposed to come with the goggles because that’s the whole point of the design and they sent me the jacket without the Goggles which I find stupid .. I went into stores to exchange but they demanded nothing can be done In stores … as I was trying to explain what’s happened and why what they did was absolutely wrong I wasn’t being listened to at all and was being completely ignored by the staff member I’m not the type to find faults and report online but this was ridiculous! If an item comes with something I expect the full outfit to be given to me not half the stuff for me to have no choice but to go in stores and tell them their fault and don’t get me started on the staff it’s appalling im not happy at all with the service I got seems the staff don’t know what they’re doing and need extra training on how to handle customers I mean with this sort of stuff I’d except a voucher or something to say sorry in some way for their ridiculous fault but instead it felt as if I paid for a jacket that’s no use to me at all without the goggles and basically felt as if I was just being ignored had no choice but to escort myself out of store since there was nothing being done.. next time please put yourself in the customers shoes and see what it’s like to feel ignored because I’m very sure you won’t like it!!!!
Do not buy anything from here or sports direct as they cannot be trusted. They advertise products but don't have them and they wait a week to process your order and then take ages to refund you because they don't have it in stock. They also use Hermes or evri to deliver and they cannot be trusted with parcels and certainly not with people's data. You end up getting dodgy phone calls from people pretending to be from MasterCard wanting your bank account details.
My mummy comes here all the time but they never have her size in shoes coz ur all mean, but one of the workers has been there everytime I go and she's amazing she works so hard I hope she gets good pay
Extremely rude staff talking down to customers with their colleagues wafting their arms around to one another. No wonder this place is being closed down with bad customer service.
