Really good selection of stuff across multiple floors. Good range of brands to suit most budgets. Feels quite novel going to a department store now that Debenhams has gone in Leeds. You definitely get the familiar department store experience of the waft of perfume as you walk in the door from all the beauty stuff!
I recently ordered a pair of shoes and couldn’t believe that I had to pay £4.99 to have them delivered to the store for ‘Click and Collect’. Anyway, I receive the shoes and they are too big. I’ve now learned that I can’t return to said store, that I paid £4.99 to collect from, and in turn have to pay again myself to return them! I used to use HOF regularly but I can assure you this will be my last time. Non-existent customer service since it was bought over a few years ago. Real shame.
Would give them zero if I could, queued at 2 unattended tills for 5 mins to pay for a pair of jeans but nobody seemed interested in taking my money,strange way to run a business really,ended up putting them back and going to John Lewis and buying from them instead.poor service.
Bad experience with rude staff when I asked about their much advertised discounted barbour deals. In fact, when I proved to them that there was not one barbour item in the mens department that was on discount I was told to go away. Probably why this branch is usually empty. Go and see for yourself. It's like a haunted freak show - not at all suprised that it is closing down
This company is a disgrace and I will be contacting trading standards. 3 weeks waiting for some sort of response from them for missing items. I will never shop with them again it is tantamount to stealing. Just refund what you owe. Avoid at all cost because it will cost you. Absolutely disgusting
A traditional store with high end concession suppliers like Kack Wills, Boss. The building is tired. Staff are tired, but excellent. Price.... average. We love these types of store but shop online for a better deal #CantHaveItBothWays
It's an excellent place to find what you are looking for. Lots of options in many brands. On every visit I have met some patient, helpful staff who has spent time to help me find and try the piece of clothing I was looking for. And they never pressure you to buy, you can take your time to make up your own mind. The variety is good and the brands are excellent. You may not find many discounted items though. Having said that I have bought branded things here on sale which I never regretted.
Visited the store many times. Nothing wrong with their range of products. Always looks well presented inside. Not quite as nice as some of their local competitors in terms of ambience , decor and products Certainly a place I will continue to visit when in the centre. I think the menswear floor needs more thought re it's layout. Difficult I assume being in the basement. Just a bit tight for room to look properly especially if it's busy in there.
The customer service here is abs beyond my words I ordered an item online cp company jacket that was supposed to come with the goggles because that’s the whole point of the design and they sent me the jacket without the Goggles which I find stupid .. I went into stores to exchange but they demanded nothing can be done In stores … as I was trying to explain what’s happened and why what they did was absolutely wrong I wasn’t being listened to at all and was being completely ignored by the staff member I’m not the type to find faults and report online but this was ridiculous! If an item comes with something I expect the full outfit to be given to me not half the stuff for me to have no choice but to go in stores and tell them their fault and don’t get me started on the staff it’s appalling im not happy at all with the service I got seems the staff don’t know what they’re doing and need extra training on how to handle customers I mean with this sort of stuff I’d except a voucher or something to say sorry in some way for their ridiculous fault but instead it felt as if I paid for a jacket that’s no use to me at all without the goggles and basically felt as if I was just being ignored had no choice but to escort myself out of store since there was nothing being done.. next time please put yourself in the customers shoes and see what it’s like to feel ignored because I’m very sure you won’t like it!!!!
Avoid this retailer honestly worst customer service ever in my life.never ever buy anything from them.i lost £170 and now they don’t even bother to reply. You can buy all products with best customer service without any kind of stress.their exchange and refund policy is joke they just trap you and then completely refuse to except any kind of responsibility for that and end of day customer will loose money.so avoid them . Don’t get into trap.shambolic service.
