Tv was broken plug sockets not working. Smelt foul all theoughout the building, inside the beds on the sheets was all gritty like they had been shake & vac’d.. asked for full refund after being there only 2 hours an he offered us £10 back from £78 we paid for 1 night without breakfast included! Was also spoken to porley by the owner after trling him we wanted a refund

A serious attempt was made to make our stay a good time by the warm welcoming couple who are newcomers to the b&b hotel trade . An older style traditional double fronted house split into two but easy access to other building via a covered corridor if you need to use it. Secure free parking at rear , tip !!! Check in early and make enquiries to secure parking. Breakfast is available for £7.50 pp this is a full English and is cooked fresh as you order,ours was fine and no grease on plate and cooked very well. Room's were clean and tidy and bathroom was supplied with fresh toweling. The hotel bar was being renovated at the time of our visit but no noise or inconvenience was heard by us I am sure it will be a good place to go on completion,as the staff are very polite and sociable people. The hotel is well located on the kingsway area close to the beach. The rooms that we looked at were very well furnished with boutique inspired interiors and could be quite romantic for couples who are looking for a getaway by the sea on a budget we paid around £60 on offer for the night and thought it was worth it. On the whole a good place to stay at a sensible price.
