EXCELLENT place for a fun night-out. We visited on Sunday where 8 comedians presented their newest material. The actors and the host were hilarious, we had such a good time. Although the drinks are more on the expensive side, the show was completely free. Would definitely recommend the club for anyone living in or visiting Liverpool!
Quirky venue but chairs very closely packed together making it feel very hot and theres not much leg room. The girl in front of me kept flicking her hair behind her and it ended up going in my drink a few times. They have an app so you can order drinks and snacks during the interval which get delivered to your seat and really fast service, all staff we encountered were cheerful and friendly. The 4 comedians on were brilliant, each one very funny in their own style, following them all on social media now and booked tickets to see Paul Smith on his new UK tour.
Great night. Staff were really friendly. Drinks were brought to your seat so that you didn't have to miss anything. Comedians were fab, following new ones on insta now, and Paul Smith was on top form with the front row. Very fun night, laughed from start to finish. Would defo recommend
Absolutely loved it. Great comedians and felt like a very personal show as I was practically on the stage. The staff were nice too as we didn't have a clue what we were doing and they explained the whole thing to us and what to do.
Yet another side spliting laughing great show. Love it also love the fact you don't even have to get of ya arse to get a drink . Just scan the code and they come to you
Great comedy gig!!! Paul Smith is brilliant and the 3 acts we had were really funny. You can order drinks at seats for bar service.
We had the pleasure of seeing Rob, Josh and Kate perform last night. It was an incredible show. Staff are brilliant, atmosphere great and a brill start, middle, or end to a night/day out. We will definitely be returning. Also great value for entertainment!
Honestly… disappointed is an understatement to say the least. First of all the top bar staff are incredibly rude and if I am quiet honest they don’t have a care in the world. Bought a drink and unfortunately when reaching over to tap my card, I ever so slightly caught it on the drink making it topple over, which fair enough that’s my fault and had I been back in the motherland of Yorkshire, we would of treated that with a “not to worry, let me get you another one” instead it was completely silence and an extra £4.50 for another pint. Actually was gob smacked after paying entry of £20 for them to not even just say don’t worry about it, we will get you another. I thought the comedians were meant to be the jokers, not the bar staff and management. Also, something that has really put the cherry on the top which is not fault of Paul Smith but of Hot water Comedy club is that they never informed anyone to say that he had turned Ill meaning that he was unable to perform… I understand that you are a business but that is really not treating the community fairly and everyone knows that there was only person that people came to see and that’s Paul Smith. The lady Bouncer said that his child was Ill in hospital but the comedians had advised he was in bed ill… if the bounce was lying that’s is sick in the head to make this up. Honestly I am sickened by the fact I have paid £20 for a night full of disappointment and horrible service and to see that Paul Smith is on tour for £9.45 extra on his own show makes me so miffed of that I have wasted petrol and time coming to what has to be the worst comedy club I have visited. Paul Smith put you on the map and you’re so disrespectful to not let anyone know to keep your finical gain. Shame I can’t give a minus -5*. Don’t believe the hype and don’t waste your money, go see Paul Live on his tour, can guarantee it will be so much better.
Paul Smith is a funny as ever and it was the first time seeing Adam Rowe. Reasonable entry price and drink price is reasonable too. If and when I come to Liverpool again I'll definitely make another visit.
Really great night. Brilliant value for money. Comedians could be hit or miss but great atmosphere. Really friendly staff.
