One of the best food places in Manchester! We visit Hong Thai all the time and it is 10/10 every time! The food is gorgeous and the portions are so big. The service is so friendly and the lady who owns the shop is such a kind person. You can tell she values every person who walks through the door. We’re so lucky to have such a nice place to go to in our city. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie and vegan options!

Food is reasonably priced. New location means parking is a bit difficult. Service good and food arrives in a timely manner and everything on the menu is halal. It does get busy during lunchtime. *went again in the evening and it was much busier but didn't have to wait long to be seated.

I have been to this restaurant several times already, and can testify to the quality of food and service. The food is always prepared fresh and all the dish I've tried are all delicious — felt like I'm being transported to the Michelin restaurants of Thailand and Hong Kong. The best part is they're priced affordably unlike other Asian restaurants in Chinatown and in town. The owner of the restaurant is very lovely too, giving the over all ambience a homey vibe. I give this 10/5 if I could - always exceeding expectations.
The best service! You order at the till usually but as we were a family of five they made the effort to come and take our order so it was easier and more comfortable for all of us. Food with a smile, always. So tasty - penang fish curry and khao soi noodle soup are a must! Glad to see them doing so well in the new spot.Food: 5/5
So glad to see Hong Thai is back - Used to visit this in the Arndale all the time. It's a little out of the city centre now, but they have a great place to sit and enjoy your food. Food is as good if not better than before, many new options too, highly recommend the mango salad.Food: 4/5
Fully Halal Thai. Our first visit - “Virgins” in the words of our host. Service was impeccable. Lilly was very attentive in advising and explaining the dishes. This is cosy family run place and we will most definitely be returning.Food: 5/5

The food is fabulous, however, management of the restaurant could be better. Due to only 4 staff including chef in the restaurant at the time and many customers, it is quite chaotic, no instructions/assistance were given, people were waiting to be seated, waiting for tables to be cleaned and waiting to place an order no menu was available. It could have been a much better experience if there were guidances.
