The food is brilliant, never had any issues and one of the best Chinese takeouts I’ve been to. The reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because multiple times they’ve tried to scam us out of more money. We’ll count up on menu how much it is and a couple times we’ve got there and it’s £5-10 more because ‘that’s the old menu with the old prices’ it’s not, it the same menu so on the phone make sure you clarify with them how much it is! Also it’s cash only and they don’t do delivery, but the food is that good we put up with it
It would be better if they could give accurate times. Placed an order by phone, was told it would be 1 hour and then on arrival I was told it would be another 30 minutes. The food is ok but the service is lacking.Food: 3/5
We can honestly say that the food here is lovely, certainly one of the best since we moved to the area 6 years ago from London. Both the chef and the lovely lady who takes the orders are very friendly and food is always cooked fresh for you. It may sometimes take a while but it's worth the wait.
One customers opinion can vary widely to the next which makes each one subjective and a personal view . Having said that and with many uses in the past , the food we collected last night was both well cooked and very tasty . I particularly liked the crispy beef and chicken curry which went extremely well with our choice of egg fried rice . Two very generous bags of crackers , one free , were excellent. Thus this takeaway is firmly on our takeaway list again .
Waited for quite a while, ordered the sweet and sour King prawn balls, which were very over cooked, and extremely greasy, the vegetable fried rice was over cooked, the only good thing that came from there was the chicken and cashew nuts , I would not recommend, glad I'm only here for a short break.
Stayed a little way away for a xmas break got let down by the local pub for food so decided on a Chinese. We are so glad we did our meal was quite simply the best Chinese meal we have ever had and i travel the country as a contractor and have eaten in most areas of the country. We had the house special rice as part of our meal, in fairness this is a meal in its own right.... It also says a lot when you are prepared to leave the kitchen on clear display to the public, there is no place to hide when the customers can watch you prepare their food....... Thank you guys for a fantastic meal we will come back if we are in the area

Nice selection and generous portions. Cash only which is a pain. Their pancake rolls are amazing. If you spend more than £20 they’ll give you a free dish and prawn crackers. Only real issue is their timings. They tell you an hour and it’s NEVER ready on time. All in all though good value.
Worse Chinese in a long time. Firstly cash only, food cold, burnt, not partucuarlaly nice at all. Extremely slow service too.
The only reason we are leaving a 1 star review is we have to leave a star zero would be more appropriate, after waiting for 45 minutes for the food, we wish we hadn't bothered, food was tasteless and bland we will never use them again
