The food wasn't that bad although they only do garlic mayo and mayo, they don't do any other sauces. The portion sizes are made up my themselves, a burger tube is there small, there large is everyother kebab shops medium and there king-size is a large, they don't even fill them like most shops do they are very stingy on there portion sizes, when challenged they tried justifying there sizes off which I told them there the only kebab shop doing it like that.
Tried twice as not so many options in Wareham. Without doubt the worst takeaway I have ever been to. Staff don't care. Food is awful, Seriously over priced. Even though they have a good grasp of english, you may end up with ANYTHING in your bag when you get home. May not resemble your order. Am considering opening a kebab shop down the road just to put them out of business and teach them a lesson. TERRIBLE - JUST DON'T GO!!
Awful terrible phone communication, having ordered before on a number of occasions they could not find my address, had to send a car and a young man on a bike to find my property. They have stopped serving alcohol despite their website claims, food very average, ordered a mixed kebab, received just lamb with salad just dumped on top, is a real shame that the two fish and chip shops in Wareham close so early, will certainly not be ordering anything again, not even an apology for the slow and awful service.
Been here three times. They got my order wrong all three times, and even tried to blame me for it. Staff are always rude and the food was not good. Will not be returning. Shame, I love kebabs but this place has put me off. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Never again will I venture into this place. Stood for about 5 minutes being totally ignored. One member if staff on phone alternating between counter and wall map. Shouting at I presume a customer on the other end of the line. Second slightly older swarthy man shouting in his native tongue at the man on phone. Not only that he was obviously cooking burgers for the unsuspecting customers waiting outside. He was heating up the rolls on the grille bars picking them up with bare hands. With Covid rife what a disgusting way to handle food, oh and no mask either, shouting and probably breathing and spitting over the food. Needs to be inspected by local authority.
Had Fish and chips here yesterday. My partner went in to buy them while I fixed our headlight. She was appalled at how rude the staff were and then when we ate the food we were once again appalled. Soggy slime fish in soggy batter and the chips were like something from a frozen bag. I have not had chips that bad since school dinners. Shockingly bad business which must only be surviving on its location.
The man in the shop didn't speak to us and just grunted when we gave our orders. The food was presented in the polystyrene dish with no covering and no bag which meant it was difficult to transport. Everything was freshly cooked and tasted good.
Have eaten kebabs for a number of years from many places, the problem with Coppers is their portions, compared to other places, theirs are hugely undersized! The biggest kebabs they do, they class them as ‘kingsize’...........absolute joke, whether lamb or chicken, not many pieces at all, if you ask for coleslaw you get a really small spoonful. The problem is ‘they know’ they are the only shop in Wareham and surrounding area so have cornered the market. To add to that, at times, certain staff there can be extremely rude, on the phone whilst you are ordering and in the shop. All in all, very disappointing, hence only 2 stars awarded.
I recommend NOT to buy food here! It was more than a disappointment! I paid £14 for 2 large lamb kebabs. They were very small and not lamb tasting at all. The salad looked old so I didn't have any and there was a pen that had dropped in the large coleslaw tub.
Ordered several different dishes from kebabs to burgers. All the food was fantastic they even delivered it to our camp site at Wareham forest and gave us a free pizza. What more could you ask for. Thanks guys for a great service
