I love this place. It always has such unique pieces. Especially in a small town it is nice to find something that is different. They stock so much, from large furniture and soft furnishings to kitchen ware and food. Definitely worth a visit There are 2 floors and has a lift for access to the upstairs
Excellent range of kitchen, soft furnishing, furniture and decorative objects. Many end-of-line products that are often available at reduced prices, so if you like something buy it now. It won't be available a week later.
I shop here regularly, unfortunately there is a seasonal member of staff who is rude and offensive!! I have complained about him to management on 2 occasions now. A white bearded elderly man who thinks it's OK to be sarcastic and offensive as you walk away from the till. I'm not sure how he gets away with this behaviour!! He has been rude to me on at least 4 visits to this store. I am a woman of color and know racism when I come across it. Iv never been treated like this in any other store.
Me and my partner purchased about £70s worth of stuff here yesterday. On paying, their till froze after showing payment approved on the card reader. The store manager then told us we'd have to pay again so I checked my banking app and the payment was showing as pending because it's a weekend. I showed the manager my banking app and explained that it's clearly gone through and the issue was their till not showing the payment. The manager refused this was the case and insisted we'd need to pay again then return if it went out twice. I went onto explain that as far as we were concerned the payment had been approved and we'd be leaving with the items. Out of courtesy I offered to leave my details just in case knowing full well the payment had gone through. The manager then became abrasive and moved all the items so I could not take them. In the end we resorted to phoning the bank for confirmation that the payment was successful, which they confirmed to the store manager. It was only then after about 20 mins of waiting that the manager checked the till again and it was then showing as cleared. She looked crestfallen. At this point I was expecting an apology, but no. The manager wrote us a receipt because the till was still not working properly, and gave us the items. I waited for about 20 seconds for the apology, but the manager just stood there without even saying goodbye. I even asked "is there an apology?" and she just ignored the question. We all get things wrong, but when presented with overwhelming evidence that you're wrong please just rectify the mistake and apologise. It's not difficult. My partner complained via the main Homesense website and got a very generic response back. Such poor customer service from both the store and the main office. We won't be returning.
Good, they currently have a large selection of Easter items, their furniture is very regularly updated and the staff are always friendly.
Visit here occasionally and it always seems well stocked and is generally quite tidy. Generous parking space and lift is useful for those who cannot manage the small flight of stairs to the upper floor.
Well laid out, interesting items, good bargain corner, served quickly at the till. Lots of parking. Enjoyed my visit.
Great value and huge selection of items. There are real bargains to be had, I buy all my glasses and bedding here.
I love this place. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Fab selection of high quality products.
I only tend to shop at any Homesense at this time of the year, as I love their range of Halloween stuff. This shop was laid out well with the Halloween stock laid out near the door. However if you wanted to find certain Halloween things you had to look hard around the shop to spot them. Clean store and friendly staff
