Always very helpful at the store. In the past they have helped loading the car with furniture, and sourced additional paint from other homebase so I didn't need to travel.
Christmas tree variety is exceptionally good for a store and fraction of the price of Farms
Our visit to your Harrogate store 10.30 10th January The first chap I tried to attract for help even though he did see me and was not doing anything else was more interested in getting his steps for the day by walking up and down the store I think rather than coming over to help a customer when I tried to get his attention, then we spotted him at the back of the store texting on his phone, not so good when a customer is trying to spend €100. The second lad I indicated to came straight over and he was brilliant taking the chair we wanted to the cashier for us and then taking it to our car without even been asked. A bit of staff training wouldn't go amiss One unhappy and then happy customer
Not the biggest of stores, but, lots of choice, and lots of bargains, which come in handy in the current financial situation.
Visited yesterday 28th March,and the 2 young men on the shop floor gave excellent, helpful service. One of them helped me with the lift as I can't get up stairs. Thank you. A credit to the store
Great store, wide range of products, i use homebase very regularly. Brilliant customer service and kind and helpful staff. i love the new paint mixing station, i have used it several times in the past few weeks, 100% better system than the last one! Lovely range of flowers and plants also within the garden centre..highly recommend.
I think generally with homebase you can find most diy items you need, I just find that the smaller items such as screws etc can be vastly over priced for what you got compared to other smaller shops. And the power tools are generally the less professional range only. Apart from prices being inflated, it generally has a wide range of products
