Story

Home Computing Solutions provide computer and laptop support and advice throughout the South Yorkshire area. We are based in Doncaster and mainly cover the surrounding areas. We provide an excellent and efficient service for all maintenance, support, diagnostic and repair work. We deal with the smallest or largest of problems, from a failing mouse to a full wireless home network install. If we cannot fix your problem there is NO CHARGE.

Our motto is if we cannot fix it nobody can!

I have approached the company for a custom build PC to play the latest games. I gave a budget and they in then gave me a variety of options. I was very happy with the computer provided which was much cheaper than the ones provided by larger firms. 100% recommend.

My PS4 Pro recently stopped working so tried to get it repaired, after contacting a couple of local firms for a quote, Martin at HCS was the only one to not only reply but to offer advice as to what it was. He replied the same day and offered opening times when requested. Visited the shop to drop off my console and found the blokes there friendly and reassuringly knowledgeable about what might be the problem. Martin called back 2 days later to offer the repair, and very honestly told me it would be quite expensive. I took him up at first but had to cancel the job due to other financial commitments. Martin was gracious about this and only charged me a diagnostic fee. Even though I didn't go through with the repair, I felt that I could have trusted HCS should I have gone ahead. Really recommend due mainly to customer service and prompt replies. Will definitely use in future if needed. Cheers

I took my iPad in for a new screen, it was done and ready to pick up within a couple of hours. Brilliant service, lovely friendly staff. The gentleman explained everything he was going to do. Definitely use their services in the future, highly recommended. Thank you

Excellent, friendly shop. My faulty ten year old laptop was examined and, as expected, demonstrated to be uneconomic to fix. My hard drive was taken out and fitted into an external hard disc enclosure and all I was charged was the cost of the part. Thank you once again. I can't recommend this shop highly enough.

Service took over 2 weeks had to get another power supply for £140 from the shop but mine was fine when delivered to shop there cables weren’t the best had to do them again myself and had to change the fans because they were all 6 were set to exhaust after paying £300 I still had to mess around with it a lot myself anyway because it wasn’t optimised 1 star should’ve done it myself

Absolutely fantastic service, very quick and efficient. Friendly and welcoming staff. Will definately come here again for any repair needs for the future even if it is an half an hour drive from Barnsley its a brilliant service from start to finish! Top job lads! 5 stars!  John looked after me from the word go.  I was unsure what spec I needed and he helped me choose the most appropriate machine which was actually £150 cheaper than I was originally looking at buying.  I ordered and paid on Monday and received an email Tuesday afternoon saying it was ready to collect!  It performs exactly as promised, easily coping with 3 camera edits and rendering and it;'s quiet too.  Highly recommended.
