A good store. Clean, tidy. All items you want to find and, a plus point, very helpful staff.
Have been a regular customer since HB opened over 12 years ago. Buy trade branded soups, cleaning products, bleach, liquid soap. There are 100's of branded lines available.

Today I went to my local. Home bargains for some shopping, I bought a couple bottles of beer, I got to the till to be asked for ID.. Puzzled as I have been served by the same lady a few times and she's not asked me before,
Home bargains is the store that keeps all us not so rich folks that live in Whitley bay alive. Great store, lovely friendly staff that are always pleasant. And everything is mikes cheaper than the big stores. If it wasn't for home bargains and a few other stores in Whitley bay, people would starve before the month was over. They also sell alot of other things like you would find at any majorly supermarket, aswell ad booze, kids toys, cosmetics, and they always have a shelf or 2 dedicated to the next big event be it easter or Christmas. They're normaly very quick to open a second till should a line or queue start to for, great place, great prices, great staff
Great spacious shop, not as many assistants on the floor as there used to be, but apart from that the prices are really good, especially compared to B&M.
Nice coffee, friendly and helpful staff. Markings in floor to make social distancing easier and hand sanitizer available when entering.
Same as most good selection pleasant staff
Good prices on many items and friendly service
Ideal for cheap products and food.
