A great wee hotel with lovely staff and a nice welcome.nGot the bus from Bristol Airport straight there so easy to reach if you don't have a car.nNice reception, bar and restaurant areas and only tip that stopped it being 5 stars would be to update some of the things in the room itself. There were loads of plugs, and well placed, but no USB ones and I'd forgotten my plug so had to charge through the laptop. Does the job fine though. Also with the hotel not being that busy, not quite sure why my room was at the furthest point away from reception next to the fire exit. If it had been anywhere else I'd have asked to move for security but seeing as it was Somerset I wasn't worried as the people are so nice.

We've stayed on our way to Devon and on our way back now for 6 years. Great location for M5. Kids eat free! They love the swimming pool on site. Staff have always been great. Very clean. Nothing is too much trouble.
Standard rooms which were well maintained and cleaned. Large car park, although lines need repainting. The breakfast buffet was nice, but didn't try the restaurant in the evening as arrived late. The sports facility was very good, with a nice swimming pool and related facilities. Convienient stopping point for trips to Dorset and Devon. Plan to stay again.
Very impressed with this hotel. Reasonably priced, clean and good facilities. The children enjoyed the pool and breakfast was excellent! A nice touch that the children were provided with a token to get a milkshake at the bar! Happy customers
