I normally don't take the time for reviews but I must say that I would recommend this hotel. I booked them the same day as my stay and I have no regrets at all. The service was wonderful. They were very helpful when it came to directions on getting around the area. The dining area was very clean and had good options for breakfast and dinner. The room was comfy, clean, and well maintained. I would definitely stay here anytime. Thank you so much to Daria. Extremely pleasant stay.
Really happy with my stay here. Good price, nice staff, room clean and big enough for 4, slept great, and the breakfast was well priced and spot on. Only gripe came from the teenagers having to share a sofa bed, but they need to face some adversity occasionally. The shuttle bus was a pleasant surprise too. Thanks! Book breakfast on arrival, it's cheaper than booking in the morning. Kids free.
Stayed here the night before my early flight. I decided to walk from the terminal to the hotel but not again. Highly recommend getting the hotel hopper it’s not expensive and I got then when I left in the morning as it’s 24 hrs. Check in was super busy but the welcome was nice. Check out was also great and well don’t to the trainee receptionist who’s only been there four months she has a great career in hospitality 10/10 for the housekeeping team for the cleaning of the rooms Had some food in the restaurant and it was not bad but the hotel was super busy that night. So had dinner then back to my room for early night. Will be happy to stay again if flying out of the airport.
Connected to Gatwick airport and totally modern facility with restaurant, and bar. We stayed in a family room with a double and 2 twin beds. The room is very nice, clean and modern. There is a desk, tv, clothes iron, hair dryer, refrigerator and safe. Check-in was a breeze. A few things to note: the restaurant does not allow take-away, so do ask about the size of the portions. The pizzas are about the size of medium American portions. We ordered 3 pizzas, thinking that they were personal pan size and couldn't eat it all. The breakfast is buffet style #22 per person. They have a lot but no pancakes or waffles. Location is a matter of preference. I gave it a 5 because we're staying one night as a layover between Paris and New York. If you are looking to see London, this is too far away.
Staying at this hotel was a horrible experience. When we got in the room, we realized that instead of our two queen beds, we had 2 singles, squeezed into such a small area one could not push out the required chair. Also, the toilet would not flush and the shower did not run with hot water. With how well we slept there, we should have slept in the car instead of wasting our money on a cramped room that looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. Food was also overly expensive and not very well prepared. On a brighter note, the shuttle bus made getting to the airport quite convenient and the hotel staff provided good service when checking in and out.
Stayed here and parked car here for our holiday as we had an early flight. Good location, frequent bus transfers to both Gatwick terminals. Rooms are clean Good bar and drinks and food available. Check in and check out were quick and easy. Sensible price for room and parking combined.
Basic hotel but I have to say it could do with a make over and a deep clean. The carpets in the hallway were stained and dirty and the shower in our room looked like it had been given a quick going over with a promise to do it properly later. That said we booked one night and 7 days parking for around £140, so I perhaps shouldn't complain but a little TLC would go a long way. The hotel is on the Hoppa bus route to the airport so very convenient.
An ideal Hotel to stay at when travelling from Gatwick Airport. Room was well appointed and very clean everything you want at a hotel today. Staff are friendly and helpful with all our needs even down to parking in disabled space at the side of the hotel. Breakfast is a great meal to start the day and we were not disappointed. There was an excellent choice from cereals, fruit fresh and dried, salads, cooked meats, breads, jams and great selection of fried foods. Eggs sunnyside up just perfect. Teas, coffee, and juices were available at no extra cost. I would say this breakfast is one if the best I have had in a long time. I would recommend this hotel as it is just 20 minutes to the North Terminal on the shuttle bus single ride or returns given. I was able to park the car for the duration of the trip and it was waiting for me in the disabled bay where I left it.
Room was nice and comfortable, restaurant was very expensive for what we had. Also added a service charge to the bill without telling us and the service was poor, we had our food before our drinks and had to wait over 40 minutes for main courses. Cost us just as much for food as it did for the room. The food was very nice when it did arrive. Cost us nearly £80 for 1 starter, 2 main courses and a drink each!! When we queried the service charge and asked for it refunding no one seemed to know how to deal with it, we were passed from one person to another and in the end left without a resolution after 20 mins as had to catch the bus to the airport.
