Staff was amazing. Always ready to help. But the rooms are very small. It was major space issue with me, my wife and 10 years old son. Wish they have bigger rooms for families. Especially when booked months in advance.nThe breakfast is included for IHG members. It's decent and better than many others. Again, excellent wait staff. I'm surprised all of Britain undercooks their bacon so much. That we couldn't stomach. The sausages were one item that didn't look good. All frayed like it wasn't fresh.
Used as a stop off before travelling to Cornwall situated just off the M5, ample parking which is free but you have to register at the hotel. Staff polite and friendly, ground floor room with all the usual amenities tea/coffee toiletries in bathroom also breakfast included. Harvester restaurant across the car park would recommend booking. All in all a good stay and will use again when visiting the area.
This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here - the rooms are very comfortable but unfortunately the room we had this time was directly above the bins and kitchen - we were woken at 4am with bins being emptied and then every 30 minutes or so there were bins, noisy delivery to the kitchen etc and we left feeling dreadful through lack of sleep. It spoiled the first day of our short break.
Lovely hotel. Staff are great just the rooms need the odd touch up here and there to make them perfect. Breakfast is nice too but not mind blowing. Just your standard buffet type breakfast with lots of options. Wifi is good.
Rooms are of good quality. the only issue was that the sofa bed was made up when we didn't ask for it,but it was rectified very quickly,only minimal staff on when the hotel was full. The location is excellent being just of the M5.
