I don`t know what the situation is with all the bad reviews?? I had a very good application through Furniture Village and my agreement with Hitachi was smooth from day one and made my payments on time. I made my final payment today to complete my agreement and phoned Hitachi up and after the automated service which was about a couple of minutes I spoke to the customer service agent to confirm that my finance agreement should be paid in full. I had no issues at all and will come back in future definitely. Thank you Hitachi

Surprised they are still in business. Waited three days no reply. They request proofs, I sent them through, then I get an email saying they are not right. I sent them exactly what they asked for. Just requested a cancellation. I took my business elsewhere and got a decision instantly. They should stick to making TV’s.

USLESS,   I have had to deal with this shambolic company as I was set up with them through a different company.  I have a direct debit with them and they constantly try billing me for late payments, when the payments have been made.  I have to spend forever on the phone horrendous costumer service for them to apologise.  Next month same thing.  It’s a shame I can’t give them one star. I am registering as many complaints as I can.

I had a car lease through work where the contract said that if you needed to end the agreement in the last 6 months it would cost 1 month's payment - around £750 for me.  However, they quoted £4k when I wanted to cancel a few months early - this level of charge was not indicated clearly in the contract.  I also found their customer services were also slow and unhelpful.  I won't be leasing from them again.  They are only interested in their own profits unfortunately.

This company STOLE money from me as an "deposit". I applied for finance and had to pay almost £70 deposit which was supposed to be returned within 10 days in case my application was refused. After 5 weeks I still have no answer about my application or deposit. Customer service doesn't exist.  AVOID!!!!

trying to call about a current agreement but the automated call handling system doesn't work and when I try a workaround I am told to leave a message having just been told that voicemail messages are not being monitored.   Customer service - not at Hitachi Capital.  Update:  used the 0344 number and was able to leave a request for call back - added a star.

Do not use this company. Took out a 0% deferred loan, missed payment by one day as promised email reminder didn't arrive and stung with extortionate interest. Customer care non existent. "Computer says no"

One of the most reputable company In all fields, like in Finance, Air Cons etc. The days which I spend in the company was most memorable for me. Most attractive and humble management, use to deal the crucial situation in a polite and decent manner with out creating a pressure on staff.... I won't hesitate to give the best ratings..

this company offer a extremely bad service. They don't care about their customers. They don't respond to letters or emails, they break customer promises and lie to get rid of you. I've written to them a number of times and I'm still awaiting a response. I hen you do get a response it doesn't address the questions raised. Stay clear of anything Hitachi related - Bad news!!!

This company is a fraudulent. They expect me to pay £15,000 for a unsafe banger that is going to break down. They also have secret contacts with dealerships without your permission. DO NOT GET ANY FINANCE FROM THIS COMPANY.
