I was pleasantly surprised. As a regular Hilton guest, it was all shiny and new looking. When next in Stoke will definitely stay again. The only negative was the parking took a bit of finding, just assumed it would be next to the hotel. Small issue and didn’t detract from a lovely hotel.
Wonderful Service and HospitalitynWe stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights with my two sons, and we had a really lovely experience at Restaurant Six and the hotel.nA special mention has to go to Athasia at the Restaurant Six, who welcomed us when we first arrived at the restaurant and looked after us throughout our stay when dining there. She was always very approachable, friendly and welcoming, and made us feel comfortable every time we visited.nHer service was consistently excellent, and she went out of her way to make sure we were happy and well looked after. It’s people like Athasia who really make a difference to a hotel stay. She is a real credit to the hotel and the restaurant. We really appreciated everything she did for us and would happily return to the hotel and restaurant !

Great staff, but over worked. One single Fantastic receptionist having to deal with 20plus arrivals at once @ 9pm but at 05:45 next morning two phone scrolling people on duty! Why. On the hottest day of the year 34c along with stressed but accommodating bar staff 4 attempts to pull a pint and barrel needed changing again and again and again ... I lost the will and retreated to the room for a cuppa instead . Restaurant closed 9:30pm seems odd for a hotel used for business people.nnIn summary great staff clean rooms, good location but management needs to look at its staff resourcing.
Generally pleasant. But bit dirty in places and why put pork dishes with non-pork dishes at breakfast? 1/3 people don't eat pork so why have pork and beef slices in the same tray for breakfast? Things like this mean you don't care how things are cooked in the kitchen too. Also nice to advise the reception staff to look up and greet people as they come through.
