Nice wee station near the Cathedral and a short walk to the University of Strathclyde. Also near to an Aldi down the road.
All trains going east stop here, one stop from Queen Street low level. Nearest station to the Royal Infirmary and the Cathedral.

NO LIFT!!!! Too bad if you arrive here and have a mobility problem. You’re confronted with a very steep, long staircase and no sign of any staff around for help. I never saw any warning of this at Queen Street station where I got on! Poor!!!
After a day at the Barras,we walked up High street to the train station,to go home
Decent enough, handy for the nearby college, university and the Royal infirmary. I really hope that the high street and this station doesn't get demolished because there's no reason to. High Street has got lovely buildings and this train station sure it's not the nicest looking station in the world but it gets the job done.
Whoever is supposed to be manning the ticket desk justs sits behind a closed door ignoring people knocking and calling for service. Make sure to get a picture if you are lucky enough to witness them emerge as it is truly a once in a lifetime sight.
Not a at station I like to use as when i do need to use it. You have to change at hyndland. An wait for another if it shows up. No staff around if they are. There after your money. Stop fare dodgers an they keep u waiting. Un organise. Smokers smoke when your aren't suppose to. If u want a ticket at the so called office. They ignore you
Has anyone ever been asked to refrain from smoking in the station? It appears to be quite acceptable to smoke on either platform either sitting on the seats or standing anywhere!
