I love this place and have observed many people being helped from all backgrounds. If someone is broken every single staff member will go above and beyond to help, nothing is too much trouble and the volunteers are a happy and devoted bunch of people who are unpaid but act out of kindness. Paul is a very gentle man and raises funds to help so many supported by his amazing Deputy Jane, every town should have a Zink in my opinion. Keep up the excellent work guys.
Absolutely love helping out at Zink, being able to help out those that are less fortunate than what I am and helping to make a difference in the lives of many that struggle is truly amazing.
I visited recently and felt because I was dressed tidily I left feeling like I’d done something wrong and when I tried to discuss my energy situation all I got off the staff there was well were all in the same boat I didn’t go there to listen to there problems I was also told because the reason I was there was because I’d bought new winter clothes and didn’t have money for food they said I should of bought cheaper clothes and shoes I find them very judgemental they help who they want too also before they were in the new building I visited them nd while I was sat there a lady called up for help nd requested a certain brand of coffee to which the staff member told the other members to bulk up her bags with bread nd pasta nd to give her low quality coffee now beggars can’t be choosers but to hear the term ‘bill it up with bread nd pasta ‘ I found it quite shocking beware folks they’re not always as nice as they should be absolutely disgusted by the response from zinc it’s no good trying to blame me for writing a bad review of the shambolic service I received you really ought to concentrate on your own shortcomings as a service provider instead of trying to blame me in the way that I’m trying to make you look bad you make yourselves look bad and remember members of the public aren’t deaf you should take your calls in private if u wish to use phrases such as ‘bulk it up with bread and pasta’ from the mouth of Paul Bohan himself and why would I use my real identity as if/when I need to use the service again I’d be treated in a ghastly manor for writing a review which is 100% truthful it seems to me the f someone writes something you disagree with it’s not about addressing the issues raised nor about slagging off the person writing the review Shame On You at Zinc
A very happy community service provided by all the staff who work there big thank you to all much appreciated and a special thanks and much respect to Stephanie and big bro Dan
I cannot praise the Staff at Zink highly enough. In my time of need, they have gone above and beyond to help me. They're kind, warm and welcoming and had it not been for this wonderful charity along with others I wouldn't be in a good place. An amazing organisation.
