What a lovely place to stay. Accommodation was first class set in an idyllic setting. Although not all surrounding walks are suitable for larger dogs due to access across the Stonewall stys.
We booked this property prior to Lock down and the whole CV-19 issues. At times we were concerned about if and how things would work out! We needn't have worried. Now here it is beautifully clean. The accommodation is very high speck and as for the views from the windows they are stunning. The property has a jacuzzi on the balcony which one may well have thought would be beyond the capacity of the owners. Far from it. It has been thoroughly cleaned and made available for our stay. Sitting in the jacuzzi in beautiful warmth observing the tremendous vista not even the rain could dampen my enthusiasm for this outstanding home from home!
Lovely holiday rental, great cottages with well equipped kitchen. Bedroom is huge w amazing soaker tub. Hot tub is smallish two Serter but works well. From the Stables you can watch the lbs on the deck. Its very cute and a big bonds. Great place to go hiking in lakes
Lovely well appointed cottage. The hot tub was great. Clean & warm. No shelter from the rain, but it is private. The patio isn't. Quiet this weekend as only us & another couple in one of the other cottages. Millom has a decent supermarket within easy drive. Haverigg beach is great for dogs to let off steam. We also enjoyed walk around Millom park, but walking boots a must.
Had a wonderful few days at the Farmhouse at High Low Scales - just wish I could have stayed longer! I will definitely be booking again. The Farmhouse is a gorgeous property in a beautiful location. Perfect for a relaxing escape and we absolutely loved all the walks. It is close to amenities but the farmhouse has everything you could ever need - it is a real home from home if you live in a huge beautiful farmhouse!. The views are spectacular and you cannot fail to enjoy them from the amazing hot tub, which was especially enjoyable after using the sauna!! The hosts really have thought of everything to make this a perfect place to stay and I can't wait to go back again shortly. PS how anyone can rate these properties at a 1/5 is completely beyond me and I would suggest you ignore that!!
Wow, what a place to stay! Massive, loads of rooms and especially for this weekend nice and warm. Views are spectacular and a lovely touch is the hot tub and sauna.
Rural and peaceful surroundings. Excellent base to explore the Lake District. Cottage was comfortable and well equipped. We loved our stay.
Excellent holiday at High Low Scales Farm. Very well furnished luxury romantic cottage stay fully equipped with all the mod cons. Convenient location to explore the lake district. We will be returning.
Great views from cottage. Cottage was great and very clean to. Also was very spacious to. Well worth going to and staying there to. Very quiet area.Rooms: 5/5
