Agree with other reviewer who would give it 5 if it had real ale. Lovely old pub in an 18th Century building. A bit of an oasis in an area of football themed bars. There's fantastic history in how it got its name. Friendly atmosphere and very pleasant staff.
Wee quaint pub feel your going back in time . Staff are really friendly.
Great wee place to stop by, first time there and was only there as a stop gap while I was at a bank machine. Superb pint of Guinness. Unbeatable!
