As a chronic pain sufferer , Stuart joined the dots before many health professionals before him. I credit him with my mobility and affectionately refer to him as my miracle man! A consummate professional and expert in his field ! Also highly recommend Stephen and his magic yet very gentle effective hands, only matched by his genuine desire to improve wellbeing
Stuart at Hide has opened my eyes on things about my physical health and learned behaviour that I’ve never found out about from a sports physio, a personal trainer, or masseuses previously. He took the time to really understand me like no one else ever has. He is incredibly knowledgeable and he can explain in layman’s terms what the prognosis is. He has made a huge impact on my health, my well-being, and hopefully my health and fitness going forward. I’ll always be eternally grateful for his kind, considered, and intelligent professionalism. Would definitely recommend.
First class experience. I had been experiencing sciatic symptoms for about a year, which suddenly became worse. Stuart Hide recognised the symptoms and cause almost from just watching me walk and from the full consultation diagnosed that I needed urgent surgery. Stuart then fast tracked me into the local hospital. His tenacity to help was exceptional. Stuart was very thorough and efficient in every aspect of the service. I attended his clinic as a private patient, but considered the charges most reasonable for the service given.
Stuart has absolutely changed my life for the better . Years of suffering with chronic pain and no answers . I thank my lucky stars every day now that I was blessed with a referral to him . He is such a knowledgeable man that doesn't confuse you with all the technical terms and yet so professional at the same time . I really do owe my life to him for guiding me in the right direction . I can’t speak highly enough about Stuart as a physiotherapist. His holistic approach to my treatment has made a huge difference to my quality of life. I would recommend Stuart to anyone suffering from chronic pain. He is knowledgable, thorough and truly cares about his patients. My only regret is that I didn’t see him sooner.
Absolutely amazing. I've had a bunch of trouble with the NHS not diagnosing my issues and Stuart went above and beyond to help me get it all sorted. He's also an incredibly skilled therapist, and his work has done me a world of good. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, but especially to anyone like me with hypermobility or just a generally complicated medical history! Easily the best of the few genuinely compassionate and skilled medical professionals I've had the pleasure of being seen by.
I was recently referred to Stuart by a specialist after being diagnosed with a prolapsed disc in my neck. Not only has my course of treatment been extremely effective so far, but Stuart has been particularly understanding of my intense anxiety around this injury and actually, just my anxiety in general which has really given me full confidence in the whole process. I’ve seen other physiotherapists in the past for this injury before diagnosis and for other minor ailments and the difference in clarity, knowledge and understanding is honestly night and day - I couldn’t recommend enough.
I can’t speak highly enough of the treatment I received from Stuart recently. I had been suffering, on and off for years, with pain in my lower back, and more persistently for the last 12 months. Through Stuart’s approach to fully investigate all injuries, going back years, he identified that my problem was due to an injury I suffered when I cracked my pelvis when I was a teenager. With his gentle treatment and a light exercise plan I am now pain free, after only 5 sessions. I feel like I have a new pair of hips and have a sense of balance all over my body. I’m sure he has saved me from further problems in the future. Thank you Stuart
Highly recommend Stuart at Hide Physiotherapy. I initially went to see him with a strange pain in my right foot during marathon training, Stuart immediately spotted the issuewhich others had missed and it was resolved within a week. Has since helped me greatly with some stretches and exercises to improve my flexibility which has improved my running considerably. Very friendly and welcoming, I also felt that he took the time to really listen to my concerns and find ways to help
Had issues with my back for some years. Initially sceptical that physiotherapy could help. After only two sessions with Stuart I have been virtually pain free for two weeks. This man is truly the 'Back whisperer!'. Thanks Stuart.
