The Morning Star

Enjoyed a lovely meal 15/10/20. Was part of a 2-4-1 deal on main courses. Great value. Super friendly waiting staff who were enthusiastic and chatty. If your after good steak this is the place, with a good selection of cuts.

I come here every year at christmas without fail and the food is usually great but this time i didn't even finish it. I don't know if they have changed the chef but i certainly won't be back.

Food was amazing in this pub. We had the Morningstar, Pork Chop and Pudding. Pudding was exceptional. Service wasn't the greatest, we were rushed as they were close to closing.

The food is delicious, from Sunday lunch, street food to the Best steaks in Belfast. Tom a hawk's, 30oz to 6oz etc. I love the laid feel of the Morning star & the staff are so lovely.

Unfortunately the quality of the experience has dropped greatly since my pre-pandemic visits. The member of staff that served our table was rude, and lacked food allergy training. She also seemed to have difficulty understanding us as English was not her first language.

Called in on Saturday for lunch and a pint for the first time in years. The food, drink and service is as good as I remember and definitely won't be leaving as long until the next visit. The carvery is delicious and a bargain at £5.95 and the Guinness is top notch.A proper bar...and highly recommended!!

The food was very tasty and the wine was very strong for myself My boyfriend had the best burger in Belfast. Good Covid regulations in place.
