Story

We are located in the beautiful seaside resort of Tenby and only a short walk from the town's walled centre. This beautiful hotel is partly built around a Grade II-listed building that dates back to the early 19th century. Formerly a private home, the hotel now boasts 25 comfortable and stylish bedrooms & suites, a fine dining restaurant & bar, and a leisure suite that includes a heated pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and well-equipped gymnasium.

Downstairs room opened into garden with a small table and chairs just outside the room to enjoy the sunshine.nRestaurant is beautiful with a lovely tranquil feel and food was very good. Staff are friendly and very helpful.nDidn't get time to visit the pool and spa as we decided to go into Tenby which is a short drive away or approximately 20-30 min walk. Made the most of the weather and had a good paddle in the sea on castle beach.
I have to say the food at this hotel is the best I’ve had in a very long time. In fact I can’t actually remember having a better meal. Whoever the chef is, they are superb. We were only able to stay for two nights on a trip from Australia and I could easily have stayed longer to try more of the menu. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a lovely atmosphere. The spa facilities were excellent especially the hot tub and sauna. The only minor thing I would like would have been a small bar fridge in our room.nThe staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back again and can’t recommend this hotel enough.nWhen the receptionist tells you the restaurant is excellent when you check in, believe her.
Our 2-night stay was so chilled and relaxing. A very modern and smart hotel - the atmosphere is very calming and quiet, perfect if you need to recharge your batteries after a busy day. The staff were so friendly and always happy to help.nnAdditionally the room was very nice, well presented and clean. The bed was so comfy and the air conditioning was a life saver as it had been humid during our stay during the summer holidays.nThe spa facilities are rather small and the pool area could do with a little refurbish/modernising, however general atmosphere was tranquil. My treatment was amazing and the masseuse was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the sort of treatment that I needed.nnThe only areas that could be improved upon were the very creaky floorboards and dated bathroom facilities within the room. We were conscious of disturbing other guests whilst walking around and the bathroom could use a little TLC.nMinor issues from an otherwise lovely few nights away at Heywood :

Our room was clean, well-equipped, and included thoughtful touches like mood lighting and a mini fridge.nnThe spa facilities were a highlight—especially the indoor pool and hot tub, which were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I also really enjoyed dinner at the Heywood Marigold restaurant; the menu had a creative mix of Asian and British dishes, and everything we tried was beautifully presented and flavorful.nnThe management and staff were consistently friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay.nnWould definitely recommend Heywood Spa Hotel for a relaxing getaway in Tenby!
What a lovely hotel! Fabulous breakfasts, and a beautifully maintained building. Fabulously friendly and flexible staff. Service at mealtimes was attentive, and aware. Brilliant staff. We enjoyed the pool and sauna area, and had a gorgeous massage with salt scrub. A very short drive into Tenby.
